I can't give all the details of how this worked out, but it wasn't something I anticipated. Just happened. For convenience I will refer to that situation in the sigular form in this and future posts. Until I get it worked out anyway. If my circumstances permitted I would also love to move to the FSU, but I am not so lucky. I do a variety of things, one of which, of course involves my employment with the US Postal Service. That is particularly nonmobile as unlike UPS, Federal Express, EMS and many others WE, of course, have no foreign offices! Some of what I do can be done entirely on the internet, but given the current economic crisis there is much uncertainty as to whether I could make a go of it exlusively relying on THAT source of income. I have run all of the particulars past my lady including the uncertainty involved and she responds by thinking it would be best for both of us to live in the US, regardless of the fact that she will miss her family and friends, though that will be quite difficult for her she says. Each situation is different. Some ladies want to stay in their home countries and some want to leave (despite the declarations in another thread by an opinionated pompous ass). Took several trips there for the term of his contract. 42 years old the guy, ex-para, security consultant…made a lot of money.
