Girls continually calling while I am on a date with someone else who I was more interested in... accidentally running into one girl while I am on a date with another... It was a nightmare at times. In Colombia women are very jealous of their men. Many men are dogs there and if anyone from the States finds their wife there? DO NOT LIVE THERE - THE TEMPTATION TO CHEAT WOULD BE WAY TOO DIFFICULT FOR THE NORMAL MALE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A GOOD LOOKING GUY! I KID YOU NOT! Lol! Reason? Women who are more than normally sexy and pretty -- use it there -- unlike anywhere else I have seen it! It is their #1 asset and if they take an interest, they will do everything they can to get you. Atleast that is what personally happened to me with more than 1 girl there. Successful? That's all a matter of perspective. Can I just email a girl today who I met there and ask her to marry me and make her as happy as anyone in the world? Unfortunately -- yes. It is not something I am proud of, because it means yes I broke a girls heart. Something I try avoiding at all costs. But I am more than just picky. A girl has to be super-special for someone like me. Not just a knock-out with a great body. I did break more than one heart -- again -- not something a guy like me is proud of, but I'm not rude or obnoxious like you, so I date a lot more successfully. Even here in the US. I can go to a bar and have a great chat with a really pretty girl here. So I am not your normal flake that has to go to FSU because he has 0 luck with the local girls here. If you have 0 luck here and go to the FSU hoping to bring home that super-hot girl you see in the marriage agency websites? Sorry, it won't happen unless you are a millionaire or have the biggest golden heart and win hers by your sincerity. I just found it very interesting to meet someone who would be not only excited about being with me, but also about giving them a life they would never have ever dreamed possible. I'm an old-fashioned romantic, gentleman type and find guys like you ben... totally obnoxious and I steer clear of flakes like you -- it is obvious you are a joke with the amount of depravity you just showed on your last past to Monada (once again). Strange but true fact? Yes. A handsome, young-looking guy can date a 17-yr old model there. I did, I just wasnt interested in living with someone that had little knowledge of life and the world. I went to meet only one girl actually -- ended up meeting more because I thought the girl was too cold for me to deal with the rest of my life. Pretty sad actually. I really liked writing her and she was one of the prettiest girl I have ever met in my life. From your original post having backup plans is really important. Many girls write letters( at least you hope) and can be different when meeting. You can tell pretty quick where it is headed. You gave it a lot of time, I commend you for that. There have been other posts in the past who have said it is better to go for 2 weeks to meet 1 girl to show seriousness but I do not share that. Yeah, at first I thought it was exactly that she didn't approve of me. Any girl that acts unaffectionate to me, gets the boot real quick. She got more than a little upset when I told her I did not accept her. She told the translator that's the way her mother raised her and she couldn't change it. I didn't believe her, and believed exactly what you said, that she might have been disappointed in my appearance or lack of being a millionaire. I tried writing her a few months later to find out what really happened, and she said she experienced tremendous sadness because of what occurred. But she seemed so materialistic, and when I mentioned I wasn't a millionaire and just made a little over 100-150k per year, she began acting even more distant. Yes, she was a gold-digger to the extreme, but she said I really got to her, but I just couldn't get past the cold, distant style she had. The agency girl I met blew off every single guy that came in the office to see her. She even blew off one guy who turned up at the office at same time she was supposed to go on her first introduction meeting with me. That guy was devastated and he had written her beforehand. Okay, he was a bit of a jerk, but she was pretty harsh. Talk about disturbing experiences - I ran into the same guy she dumped at a mall a day or so later and he asked me if I was still seeing her. I tried not answering but the guy followed me to the agency -- and there she was ready to go on a 2nd date with me... Anways, she had a body that would have given a playmate a run for her money, but she also had an ex-husband (common law) who she was still seeing at the time. That's when the sh*t hit the fan real quick -- when I accused her of it, and the next day the translator is getting threatening messages from him asking who she was and why she was calling his wife's cellphone so many times at night. I'm not unique in my experiences in Cali. There are more humble girls there -- I only met 2 gold-digger types that were wanting a rich guy. 99.9% of the rest just wanted a nice, attractive faithful guy. I just wasn't attracted enough to them. So that's where they step it up a notch on you. Their hard-to-get attitude changes 1000% when they know you're seriously about to dump them and they still want a chance to prove their worth to you. Her mood reversed the minute I did not show interest, must be an behavior which has developed through history of man, man being the hunter/gatherer and women being nurturer. Yeah, that is what I thought, and no I didn't even try to go on another date. lol. I also agree with the "Show no interest tactic". It works a lot. Next time if I am really interested in someone, I won't be showing it other than simple smiles. A girl really does turn up the tempo when she knows she is losing your interest, but really liked you. If she was 'acting' hard-to-get, it stops if she likes you. But if she wasn't interested for real, its goodbye. lol! I agree, first impressions are everything, because in time, they will revert back to that nature every time. Love is blind... but someone's true character is an eyefull. You are wise not to have ignored it. If it was that girl's first experience with a decent guy, she probably quickly realized too late that good decent guys are very rare in the marriage agency world. I met a wonderful 22 year old english teacher.......at an Anastasia social. I have been conversing with her 5 to 6 days a week for 1 to 3 hours a day for the last three months. I will return next week for two weeks to spend with the woman I believe will be my fiancee. Although the citizens will take slight advantage of westerners.....and their money, they seem to appreciate us more than the Russians next door. I have great appreciation of the folks at Anastasia and from my experience made these observations: Let's be honest, out of the 40 men on my tour, if I were a woman I would have been afraid of 10 of them, however being american I just assumed they were products of inbreeding. Secondly if you are going to visit these women and expect to have your bones jumped you better have a few hundred to pay for it. Quality women in Ukraine are expecting to be treated with respect. Thirdly, from my experiences and conversations, Ukrainian women will not take you very seriously until you take the initiative and make a second trip ( showing sincerity ). I would be happy to share more of my experiences with anyone wanting to hear. There are many women looking for good men but you have to do it right.
