Is this the typical pysche of a Ukrainian woman..god help us if it is and you marry one! I don't expect any woman to kiss my feet or slave after me..I can do things for myself such as fetch my own dinner and all my past relationships have been, me slaving after the woman! Its about mutual respect, Monada, but the way you talk and your attitude, you treat your man like shit and think all men are shit! I don't think you understand what respect is and you have a big mouth! If you are unwilling to offer respect, then no relationship will work and it is the same for the man as well. Some men are dogs and are not worthy of respect and so are some women as well but there are many good people out there, honest men with honest intentions..you must have meet a lot of bad apples to have such a tainted view of all western men as to tar them all with one brush! My definition of a "bad man" is one who treats his woman like shit and bashes her..a wife basher and I know in many European cultures, wife bashing is an accepted part of the culture and goes on as is the case in many Asian cultures but it is not accepted in Australia and there are strong laws to deal with it and my opinion of such men is that they have "pea nut brains" and they are uncivilised dogs. There are good men, who want a real wife and woman to love,Monada aand most Western men don't go to Ukraine for "sex trips", Monada..its a very expensive way to go and get sex! I still call her, "a hard case" every time my kids come and see me and complain about there mother..she's a bit too strict and hard going and won't let up and accept its modern times and teenagers have more freedoms now days and they want to muck around including having sex. For example, I think its ok for my 15 year old daughter to have sex with boys along as she has contraception and the boy wears a "rain coat" on his privates because, I am realistic and teenagers will still do it, even if you says "No"..my ex-wife says "No" out right and is old fashioned in her view of these things ( she is only 38 years old ). My 12 year old daughter tells me often, she does not like her mother at all and that she thinks she is a bitch ( feelings are mutual here ) and that I am the better and coolest parent! On the subject of being a bitch, Monada, it depends on how you are being a bitch...for some men it is a turn on and makes them more horny...some men love it when a woman "queens" all over them and then mounts them! On the other hand, if you are being a bitch the wrong way, most men will resent it and it destroy the relationship or marriage and some "dick head men" will bash up there women. I don't condone or accept any excuse, for a man to "put his hand to a woman and hit her"..its unacceptable and uncivilised behaviour. My answer if a woman is being a bitch to me in the wrong, is to walk out of the relationship and tell her to fook off and I have ended 1 relationship like that since my divorce as the lady I wa dating was being a "silly bitch" and I had reached the end of my tether ( patience ) so I pulled the plug on that relationship. Actually, one of my friends, his Macedonian wife gives him a good bashing and thumping ( she also bites and he showed me the bite marks! ) when he irritates or makes her mad ( yes, he has very irritating ways and behaviours, that get under his wifes, Milena skin! ) and he dares not hit her because she calls the cops ( the police ) and then he is in deep shit ( Australian word for big trouble ). My friend is a pain the ass to his wife and what we call in Australia "an unreasonable prick" but I believe his wife has an anger management problem also! My friends marriage to Milena, is a very dysfunctional relationship but they won't leave each other because they have 2 young kids and its unacceptable in the Macedonian culture to divorce, hence Macedonians ahve the worlds lowest divorce rate of 5%. Monada, I wonder why Ukraine has second highest divorce rate in the World of 63% of marriages, while Russia is on top with 65%..what is it in your culture..is the woman with mouth that is too big or is that Ukrainian woman divorce at the first sign of shit in the relationship. All relationships and marriage have shit in them, bumps in the road as nobody is perfect and there are no complete "angels" in the world but people need to compromise and sort out the problems together!..not divorce at the first argument which it seems what Ukrainian girls do..I worked on my marriage for 3 years before I gave up, realising it was dead and it was time to leave! Why do so many Ukrainian girls divorce?????..why is it they have made it to No.1 on the Worlds list of cultures of the greatest divorcers! It seems to be one of the Worlds greatest mysteries like the mystery of life, "Why are we are here and how did we become to be here?" I am sure, men in this forum would love to hear your opinion and reason why in the Ukraine, divorce rate made it to the Guiness Book of records as the Worlds worst ( a joke )! WE HAVE BIG PROBLEM wITH OUR MAN: 1 - drinking, drugs, laziness etc. 2 - we have MORE women then men 3 - our men at 50 are old and at 60 are ready to die 4 - every second girl is model, our men are too spoiled 4 - our women are too tired to work and earn money, wash, cook, clean take care of kinds and husband... so f'ck off hubs - at least life a little easier... **** TWICE I tried to build family... in both case there was ME who turned to be MAN in family... I was destroyed, dead... the shadow, not woman... I was in strees... in teas... my baby on my arms was crying with me... I saw horrow in her eyes when my "then-husb" was punching me... I run away from him with my kid when she was 7 month old and HE on his knees was asking to forgive and come back... When my kid was 15 month old I took only her and went forever. I have very cruel to my "ex". It was a heavy decision to separate my daughter with her father, but I had no choice... he has done all for me to do it... and he did never realized that I really could do it... I have become very cruel to him... my heart is cooler than stone to him... I will destroy him and spread his brains on the wall if ever he cross the line of my life... Do you want to hear mine? I am from Ukraine too and probably from the same city.. Listen, you cann't look in Guiness Book and make up your opinion.. I think, that book good only for sport records.)) My 1 husband left us ( my son 6 years old and me ) for younger one..and he didn't stop till now... his girlfriend in the same age as my son/ Well, I had to survive. I did it, everything by myself and believe me, after USSR was destroyed by "our friends" a lot of people became frustrated, especially our men.. not everybody had such a powerful grib to be in a good shape in the beginning of 90's. Our women were in much better shape than men, because they are mothers first and they HAD TO give the kids the good education, good food and etc. As for me, I had to work in business which was not really secured and I had to make a deal with our men of course. They didn't treat me as a woman and I didn't treat them as a men, because we had to make money.There was such a time... I tell you, in some situation I was stronger than they are ( I am not talkig about phisically stronger, but mentally). I knew, that I have my son at home and I HAVE TO give my son the best! I did it. What about his father? No one grivnya from him, nothing. he even didn't call, because he was busy with his girlfriends. he was handsom man and successful . When I come to Ukraine he calls me and ask for... date? (( Ridiculous!!! All my girlfriends have the similar problems... Would I like to have a russian-ukranian man for rest of my life? NEVER EVER! In 96 I lost 70% of my money. But it was enough to pay for everything and travel.. whatever.. MONADA tells you true story about life. They were ass hole men! Not all men are ass holes. It was my mistake to judge you, Monada without the full facts...I do know better and I am sorry. My story is one of pain and betrayal...I was a good husband, never lazy and always helped around the house and my ex-wife has acknowledged that. My ex-wife betrayed my love and slept with and had affairs with other men while I was 100% faithful..I do not know why she did this to me, to this very day but I could not continue to forgive her and live with this person and have any respect for myself so....I left her. I have 3 kids,2 girls aged 12 and 15 years and a boy aged 13. It was most painful thing in my life, the separation and divorce as I had spent 12 years with her and I was very sick for a long time with it and needed counselling and medical treatment because it deeply affect me, pyschologically with severe depression and I made 3 attempts on my life because my mind was not working properly and last one I nearly died in the hospital in 2002. Its taken me a long time to get better and fully recover through group therapy and support and counselling and for past 3 years I have been o.k I have regular contact with my children, 3 months of each year in my full time care spread over full year as every second weekend and half of school vacation periods and I pay my ex-wife child support as well as buy things for my kids. This is my story from an honest man.
