A lot of people have Not caught onto this yet!!The E.U have already have well advanced plans for a combined military and air force that will take the place of NATO in europe. It will be driven by a dominant Germany and as they are the biggest net contributors to the EU they will have much influence over it. As for Britain they will withdraw from the E.U. with regard to who the enemy is -a militant Islamic bloc led by Iran. I think you'll find the AN225 has scored an unrecognised record, for taking 18+ years to constuct a single airframe! There is one flying but the second has remained in pieces in Kiev since the fall of the USSR. And don't forget about the AN2, the world's largest single engine biplane and the AN22, the world's largest turboprop! But only some 19 AN124's were built in Kiev, the rest were built elsewhere. Of course it was backed by the Russian government, the aircraft was specifically built to carry the Russian space shuttle on it's back (hence the two tails to allow for loading/unloading the shuttle) but it does make one wonder how heavy the Russian shuttle is/was, the US can carry theirs on the back of a B747 but the Russians had to have this monster specially built! I could list many more little jabs like this. They (Putin) use every economic tool they can to influence peddle Ukraine from joining Nato and the EU. It will get worse as the reality of joining nears.
