I stand to be corrected but I'm not sure if it's legal to fly a Pitts on a PPL, I'm of the impression one might need an aerobatics certificate or endorsement on their licence.
And on a PPL one cannot fly for commercial purposes, i.e. being paid to fly, so if he were to display in a Pitts then someone could pay the fuel costs etc. but one wouldn't be legal to profit from it.
This flight is for the person who's middle name is thrill seeker! We spend more time inverted than the right-way up! Within this flight you'll be doing Loop the Loops, Rolls, inverted flight and Hammer Heads. This 15 minute trial flight will get the blood pumping!
This activity takes place at Camden Airport, NSW. Vistors are welcome to watch the flight at our building.

As a guide, you will be at the venue between 1 and 1.5 hours, including a briefing, 15 minutes actual flying time and debrief. Flights leave at 6.30am - 4:00pm in one and a half hour increments. Upon booking, we will try to accomodate your preferred time or arrange the closest time slot available for your date purchased.
This flight activity is one on one with a qualified flight instructor.
You must be over the age 15 to participate and less than 120kgs. Participants must have a healthy lifestyle with no high blood pressure or heart problems.
This adventure starts at Camden airport. You will be briefed on the operation of the aircraft and how to manipulate the controls in flight. Once in the air we will go through the basic manoeuvres on how to control an aircraft. After you have flown the aircraft in basic flight this where the fun really starts - it's time for the aerobatics! Within the hour we will do Loop the Loop, Rolls, inverted flight and Hammer Heads. Then if you're up to it, you will get the opportunity to try a Loop and a Roll. The aircraft we use for this adventure is the Pitts Special S2B 260 hp true aerobatic fun machine. This aircraft is a great aircraft for this exercise as it is fully aerobatic and is front and back seating. You will sit in the front (Captains seat) which will give you the feeling that you're on your own. The aircraft is fitted with dual controls and the pilots are highly experienced instructors and aerobatic pilots.
All instructors are suitable qualified instructors with 1000+ hours. The aircraft is fully CASA approved.
The question still stands. First you say you have a license and then you say you don't, which is it? Or did having a license just slip your mind? You know danny just to give you a heads up a serial number goes with one specific plane. It lets the owner know if he has to call for tech information or recall bulletins exactly what engine he has. Some have specific modifications etc. I can't wait to stop by the airport and see where this plane is parked at now. How come I think it won't be OZ? This ought to be a good story from you. Just giving you some time to either come clean or create a more interesting lie.
Shoots all your credibility down here. If you would lie about a pilots license and ownership of an aircraft, what credibility do you have here, unless you are on the scam, which I think you are.
Martin just to give you an idea of what 1000 plus hours cost. If you don't own a plane to get to 1000 hours at an inexpensive airport you would spent at least 60k for that time. That's not including about the 5-6k you would spend on your license, that's not including fuel etc. Let alone, I didn't read the article you have, but is that 1000+ hours in the Pitts S2, I'm sure danny can tell us he has that many hours at the stick.
I cannot recall the prices but I had a pilot a couple of years back that was short by a couple of hundred hours to change his licence. I was having him Saab 2000 type rated at Vero Beach anyway so he just went to one of the Florida flight schools, bought a couple of hundred hours, and just went for it.
Some days he just flew above the airfield all day, other days he went to the keys, he had fun by the stories and videos I heard and saw afterwards.
BUT, to maintain a PPL a pilot needs to do a minimum of X hours per year, do a medical, perhaps maintain an instrument rating, probably some other things also, and that ain't going to happen in Nab. Chelny.
And if somebody might have been doing the bare minimum of hours on perhaps a light Cessna for the past couple of years then they are going to be 'rusty', no problem at all to climb in to a single seat Pitts to fly it solo ...... me thinks not!
Well just to baffle you with more licensing talk Dyssy, that pilot had had his UK ATPL(A) issued during the period that UK was changing all their issued licenses to be issued in accordance with JAA FCL 1 ..... but he was issued with a UK, not a JAA, licence.
To take the job that I had on offer he needed a JAA licence, he already had 500 ish hours and the UK CAA told him, god knows why, that he needed 700 hours to convert his licence to JAA hence he was some 200 hours short of the required 700, he did the hours, got his JAA licence and got the job.
No medical, don't get 'rusty', can fly a single seater Pitts with no trouble at all, perhaps we should start calling you 'Biggles'!
Uh moron danny the Pitts has an hour meter in it.It's the little numbers below the tachometer. It's required for you maintenance. The Pitts S2S which you claim to own has a registry in Warsaw Poland, the owner is Lukasz Wolanczyk. Tail numbers are SP-FYB. Nice try moron.
Also the Pitts S2S is not a kit never has been never will be. The Pitts S2S is a production competition model only. Those are the words from a Pitts Owner. Also another funny thing danny seems to miss out on. Is he is supposedly flying a tailwheel aircraft, we have a whole different training for that.

Martin to Get a private pilots license a medical would be required, the license will not be issued without that medical. So again Danny lies. If he never had a physical he was never issued a PPL. End of story. Well just for starters an aircraft registration is displayed on each aircraft where it is highly visible, in Australia it would be a 5 letter reistration beginning with the letters 'VH', in USA it would be a series of numbers as letters such a one particular B707, that springs to mind, that is registered N707JT and just how many times may an aircraft be seen, without displaying a registration, before somebody reports it.
It's comparible, but far more serious, than driving a car around without a licence plate, one won't get very far before being stopped.
An unregistered aircraft is fine as long as it stays parked on the ground but as soon as it may become airborne then it is so illegal it is beyond belief. Imagine a mid air incident with an airliner, hundreds of people dead, and some dyslexic tw@t caused it by flying around in an unlicensed, unregistered, uninsured etc. home made aeroplane, they'd probably consider bringing back the death sentence for such a multitude of crimes.
But, as nasfan has clarified, one minute he had a licence, then he didn't, then he flew one or two types of aircraft, then he made himself a Pitts, the stories keep coming in, not even the newspapers could keep up with such an ever changing story.
But if he's never had a licence, which he has admitted to, then he can never have taken a single, approved, flying lesson, he has never been trained to fly, yet he gives the impression that flying an aeroplane, flying a Pitts, is like a walk in the park.

Interesting fact is most tourist places will take a picture of you if you ask. We had the same thing done in Tennessee when my wife wanted to take a helicopter ride because she never had been in one. So since I have this picture I must now also be a helicopter pilot LOL!!
