Cold either take trip from Kiev or odessa BUT you need to trust girl enough to book through a travel agent because of the chartered airtravel and prices I couldnīt beat on internet. RT....I ALWAYS..if possible.....travel back to US,LA in particular, directly from a european city. Saving headaches, 2to3 hours time and not really much more expensive. I have travelled many times with airfrance and never booked that stop in NY. Once at LAX, a dog sniffer found some beef jerkey on my bag and I needed to go through the agricuture section in customs before I was able to go through the customs area. I just saw a clue why ... last April, when Ukraine renewed Russia's lease on its naval base in Crimea, part of the deal was a 30% gas discount for Ukraine. In the bigger picture, Russia has been angry about Ukraine's independent attitude, especially since the Orange Revolution in 2004. Now that Ukraine has Putin's chosen man in charge, all is peaceful and calm concerning gas supplies.
