I don't know the names of the principles, but this week, in Vancouver BC a woman sued her husband to try and wrangle new terms for their separation. With all biases aside, their prenup was written before they developed their assets (obviously net worth was minimal then), and now she is pretty much shafted as the courts upheld the prenup, even though in his decision the judge felt it was an unfair settlement. If any of you are interested in reading this story, try cbc.ca. It's a recent story so it shouldn't be too difficult to find.
