So who are you Wanda? Are you an Eastern European woman who loathes your country(wo)men? One who sort of out of nationalistic pride attempts to discourage western men by painting an ugly picture in the hope that they not take advantage of those economcally vulnerable? Highly suspicious, you question our true motivation? Maybe you are a western women who has been jilted by a a globe hopping man, for something younger and sweeter and better? Or maybe you are a transexual who simply forgot your current gender (which is why you have a female persona but are posting in a male forum) and simply don't like men at all? I am guessing that you fall into the first category. Though we have had a few who are in the second and maybe even third categories. (Don't know for sure about the third category.) I noticed that you brought this thread to the forefront - likely in direct response to my complimenting Romance Socials. Long time readers of this forumcan attest that the original Romance Social set I attended was put on by European Connections - a company that no longer does them. Four years later I attended a set of Romance Socials put on by AFA and again three years after that. Last year in September I attended 3 individual Romance Socials sponsored by Anastatia and they did suck. I then went to Poltava as part of the same trip and attended another by AFA which was great. AFA Romance Socials are the best. By comparison Anastasia SUCKS. BUT Anastasia Romance Social are still Romance Socials and as such - though they suck by comparison - they are still better than writing letters. I will leave you now to your quixotic defense of your poor vulnerable country(wo)men, who are taken advantage of by us predatory men. Discourage us some more about how all they are looking for is money in exchange for sexual favors and manicures and how their mother's raised them incorrectly. Your condemnation is quite amusing. Beemer: I am finding myself slipping into being uncivil again like I was telling you about. Oh-oh....

Wanda the great leader, spokesman and advocate for all women everywhere in the world. The one paragraph is in itself contradictory. Do you write what you think or what you feel. It is plain that your values change with every book you read and life should resemble the 30 minute situation comedy you watch. Jeffry Dahmer's mother was a great therapist too. His formative years were scripted with every chapter, line and latest expert opinion, just as you are spewing. Grow up and live your own life. Start with continuity in your own thoughts and behavior.

jetmba,,, the people who created Anastasia, stole the idea from European Connections!! That is how David Besuden~~~ met his wife!!! When I was in Moscow, Dec of 98, European Connections would slide leaflets under the doors, to try and steal some customers back!! lol Isn't AFA just the new face of EC????

lonelyranger1701: AFA was doing what they do at the same time as European Connections. I know that European Connections stopped doing tours after IMBRA came out. They fought IMBRA in court and lost (IMBRA is as dumb as the Patriot Act - though less harmful). They didn't want to do background checks on all participants. But when I decided to go on another Roamce Tour in 2007, four years after my first one in 2003 I did talk to the people at European Connections and ask which of their two former competitors was better. They recommended AFA. And they were RIGHT.

Boring Boring!! who cares about socials where guys are laughed at behind their backs, and who gives a fig about anastasia socials or any other socials!! all boring , if you ask me ant guy who needs attend them is either stupid or crazy!! are you all so really sad on here!! Yeah, I fully agree, Anastasia is something awful!!! I communicate with girl on Anastasia but then she appeared to be unreal! And beside I was on social, I do not like it. It was boring and I could not get who is who - girl or interpretor, they all were flirting and some had wedding rings???? What does that mean? Is she an interpretor? or not? why was she flirting with me then? Still don't get it. Try DateBride. It is rather new and not spoilt yet. And CharmingDate. Also not bad.
