I personally met 7 women, some more than one time. I filed I-129F petitions for two of them. One Russian "fiancee" just got scared, I guess. She chickened out on moving from Siberia to Southern California. Maybe it was something about me, but she did not say it. Instead, she wanted me to move to Russia!!:)) The other "fiancee" has her family in San Diego, about 120 miles from me. After we got engaged, and I filed the petition to bring her to the U.S., she rarely replied to my emails, and when she did, she said about two lines and that was it. After four months of this rather cold treatment, I contacted Homeland Security and withdrew the petition. I have been at this looking in the FSU since 2007 and am very close to getting out. I have been contacted by over 3,000 women, some of whom were scammers, many just players. Not many on these sites are sincere. The women claim that men don't come and visit, yet they play all kinds of games themselves. I'm glad to read that some of you guys have been successful. I tink most who try to find someone do not. I'm an example of numerous attempts. I think I could write a book on my trips to the FSU, all about "My Russian Loves." Peace to all! She had no interest in me as her "fiancee" after I filed the I-129F petition. I think she got overconfident and thought for sure she would be on American soil. My other fiancee, from Siberia, backed down after I filed the I-129F, but still wanted me to move to Russia. I declined. Besides the factors Rick4girl lists, there is also an element of "luck" for anyone trying to find a good woman in the FSU, just as there an element of luck in finding someone in the USA. They lure you to their city with one girl,,,,, then try to sell you meetings with others while there. They are based in Tver’, Russia. Many of their girls are from Tver’, and they sell “full package” trips! Airfare, taxi, apartment, and interpreters. I caught my girl there in several lies,,, it was very disappointing. RussianCupid.com is the new version of Russian Euro.com I spent a short time on that site, and it was a “Who’s Who” of the scammer world. The girls would fall in love with just a few letters,,, or relatives were always sick,,, or they are just a few hundred dollars short for their Visa to the US. A place where women who are definitely interested in meeting a foreigner can register her name, information and photo, as a profile. And the agency can contact her. Thats it. Anything else should be considered highly suspicious. Anything else is simply an attempt to extract money from your wallet. Romance Socials USE agencies simply to invite the girls listed to a Romance Social. Once there the girls are untethered from any agency influence whatsoever EXCEPT for those who cannot communicate without the assist of a translator and may feel comfortable and insist on translators from HER agency. Other than that a girl can meet you, go off with you, give you her phone number or email address - anything she wants and the agencies have NO CONTROL over her or the communication. And agencies HATE Romance Socials exactly for this. I have a friend with an agency in Poltava. He hates Romance Socials. And he will trash them any time he can. Because a Romance Social is the easiest way for him to lose girls and lose all money making control over them. Same with an agency owner in Mariupol - a woman I don't trust or like - she works with AFA to provide girls for the Romance Socials from her listings. I know that AFA pays her for her cooperation - as well as other agencies in town. But she trashes AFA Romance Socials on every occassion. SHe doesn't want to lose her girls or her control.
