Hi Tom,,, I was starting to wonder if something happened? I thought your girl would be here by now?
I’m not sure what you mean by women not changing and about your fiancee.
I can look at your girl’s friends, but it may not be necessary. I just might have something cooking, but it will be a while to know for sure.
"On 2 our three occasions I thought she was trying to scam me...she said she needed 450 USD for a hotel room for a lay over in Germany on her way out to see me. I found a marriott on the airport for $145. I told her just to go to the marriott and she hit the roof! I was sure I had exposed her as a scammer. She angrily told me " that's stupid! Why would you waste all that money when the hotel I found is less than $60 and just a few miles away! That's when I learned USD is the same term used for hyvrnia. Each time something doesn't make sense, it's always my lack of understanding."
What..........USD is same term used for hyvrnia????
Are you sure? First of all it is usually spelled 'hryvna', second the abbr. is UAH. Are they the same because they both start with 'U' and have three letters??????? ;-))
Do you ever read what you write before posting? Your spelling is atrocious, I can barely understand what you are writing(or some words you use) sometimes.
BTW, congrats for finding your girl. Now the real work starts!!!!
Beemer I write on my phone, a little tiny keyboard. I have great big fingers. Please just try and do your best. Often the meaning of a misspelled word can be inferred from the sentence it is in. I don't know about the abbreviation for hyvrnia. Maybe she miss translated it... Maybe she was confused, but she went nuts when she thought I was spending over $100 for her hotel room
Okay Tom. But do you ever read what you wrote, to fix any errors, before sending reply? ))
I don't understand how she said 450 usd and later told you she found a hotel for less than $60. Was one verbal and the other written? Why did she say one in hryvna and other in dollars, doesn't make sense!! no consistency.
"That's when I learned USD is the same term used for hyvrnia"
Those are your words Tom.
BTW, there is no translating any abbreviated words. In any language USD and UAD are the same.
You don't translate letters? Did you ever have a beer that sounded like slavootish? If I'm not wrong it starts with a cr. Fact is every time they write in "American" letters they use the sounds of the Russian letters, letter by letter, to write the words. You ever meet a woman called Alexandria over the? Her name looks nothing like that so they break it down letter by letter, sound by sound to write Alexandria. Even with my fiancee, he name is Irina. In her passport it looks nothing like that.
Tom,, some letters and their sounds are the same! The letters (U and M ) and maybe (O) off the top of my head are three. Also,, they put the letter Y in front of some names,,, like Yekaterina and I think they do the same with Ukraine ? I don’t have the time to do any research right now.
Tom Shea, there was something on TV news on TCH I was watching about Ukrainian Women and old men. You might want to watch it if you're here in Ukraine, and understand Ukrainian.
I'm not in Ukraine and I speak about 40 words in Russian. Yes one heard all the horror stories about younger Ukrainian women and older men. She arrived last Tuesday. I can not tell you that today I don't look at her and ask why she's here. I have read the dept of state report that says fsu women and American men have a 19% divorce rate. I've heard loons here screaming about 90% get divorced. I can tell you that her mom (59) has now begun English lessons so she can speak to her new soon in law and grand child. I can tell you that her family calls on Skype for over an hour a day and we all talk. I can tell you that she is not a economic refugee with her parents owning cars and her father being the head engineer of a huge corporation. I can tell you that I sent her $500 on her trip out here in case she got knocked off schedule, and when she arrived she gave me $465 back
I've also gotten her to sign an iron clad prenup which she did not hesitate for one second.
Please nay Sayers, I've thrown my best tests at her. I don't know what else I can do!!!# please stop me before we are married and I'm stuck with a beautiful, smart, loving woman for the rest of my days!!!!!!
Its been nearly two weeks now. Every day I am more amazed. Went to a wedding yesterday. The bride wad 24 and had around 100 friends there. She is35 and was by far the most beautiful woman there. The young guys couldn't stop looking. I just smiled. We left the reception and went home. I woke this morning to a cooked breakfast and the comment "that big wedding was nice but I think I get a nice dress and we get married at home". She's better than I could make up. Thank you fiancee.com for everything.
