What do they call toilet paper here? ... "Tourist paper" because it is only the tourists that use it. They cannot use a toilet, they squat on it or indeed pee and shit on the floor, many have never seen a toilet that flushes before. They cannot use a shower and insist upon a bucket and scoop. They think sleeping 6 people in a double room to be perfectly reasonable. They think nothing of having sex at the wrong time of the month leaving our bedding bloodied. And they think checking-in for the that night to be perfectly acceptable from as early as 6am! They believe cooking in the room or lighting a bonfire in our grounds to be normal behaviour ... Oh, I could write a book :) Here are my place's booking terms & conditions and they are pretty much directed at one nationality in particular: Terms & Conditions Occupancy The guest(s) understands and agrees that the maximum number of persons per accommodation is as stated and that no additional person(s) shall be accommodated in the accommodation(s). Volatile/Inflammable Substances The guest(s) understands and agrees that no volatile or inflammable substances shall be admitted in to the accommodation(s) and that (self catering) cooking is not permitted within the accommodation(s) and/or our boundaries. Respect of other Guests The guest(s) understands and agrees that they shall respect other guests and keep noise to an acceptable and minimal level between the hours of 10pm and 7am, and: That guest(s) shall not feed any animals, particularly dogs, nor shall they leave foodstuffs outside or near the vicinity of their accommodation, and: Whilst guests are welcome to smoke tobacco products elsewhere within our boundaries our accommodations are strictly non smoking. Loss and/or Damages The guest(s) understands and agrees that in the event of any loss or willful damage to accommodation(s) furniture and/or fixtures then damages shall become payable. In the event of loss of any accommodation key then a (replacement lock) payment of PHP750.00 per lost key shall become payable. Check-In & Check-Out Times Our check-in times are between 1200 and 1700 hours daily, early check-in's may be accommodated by prior arrangement and on a space available basis, late check-in's may accommodated by prior arrangement and, out of hours, we may be contacted by telephone (SMS) on XXXX XXX XXXX.
