OK; I 've taken my lesson; but how do you do in Russia where they measure everything with the metric system ?
My girl has enough problem with the english idioms so that I don't bother her with UK/Imperial/uS measure Units ! Euros and metrics are far much easier for the common EU/FSU citizens (or would be citizens)
I am English, I use Imperial Measurements because it is what I was taught at school. Fractions are far easier to deal with than %-ages !!
Britain is an Island, if we wanted to be part of the continent of Europe we would "back fill" the English Channel !! We dont, but "Chairman Blair" our neo nazi and soon to be on trial for war crimes prime minister is too busy sucking up to other countries that he hasnt noticed this country he thinks he leads, he doesnt any more !!
If he dares to try a referendum on the Euro, he is almost certainly going to be given the jar of vaseline and told where to poke his Euro !!
