Pitchka,
I think you refer to the "Little Red riding hood" story...yes, the wolf drooling after a women with his tongue hanging out, eye popping, and heart jumping out the skin has been a western cartoon character for many decades....(i think it was created to model Dale's reaction to FSU women, lol)
I wouldn't REALLY stick my tongue out at anyone. I also consider it disrespectful. It was just a thought to describe my reaction to a beautiful woman. (just like the cartoons)
"..."Little Red riding hood" story...."
-is much older than Disney, -was much different before it got 'disney-fied'
-and probably existed in Russia, Ukraine, etc. before Grimm...(?)
Ptichka, am I right?
No Sancho you're not right, "little red riding hood" came to us, thanks to Grimm brothers. In Ukraine we have different fairy-tales, and none resembles this very fairy-tale, which is really very good:)
And I agree with Toad when a fairy-tale is popular and known in the whole world...nobody cares how old it is:)
Old fairy tales tell about culture (and influence thinking - a little at least).
And, they are destroyed when 'disney-fied'...
(and the wolf ate the girl and her grandmother - literally)
(but, hey, where is our psychoanalyst now, when he is needed?)(the one who took his nickname from the german stock exchange index).
Are you referring to Dax? I don't think he is really needed here unless Disney-fied Fairy tales upset you that much. I have yet to see a wolf getting away with impersonating someone's grandmother.
Wolf
Kevin Costner danced with them...
In Spain they run with bulls (streets full of them). One can (nearly) start to belive in bears in the streets of Moscow (?). -just to let somebody show how macho they are of course...
Picture idiotdetector running down streets of Canberra - with wild koala bears in hot pursuit....
Apart from that: Have we really exhausted 'Culture' (in FSU)?
-or is it a conspiracy: you keep your secrets and let poor me travel there with all my false information from old Hollywood movies!
(like when they send new apprentice to other department for something 'funny'...)
