It's just their own matter, among those girls I met really interesting girls, with whom it's really interesting to communicate, girls who read a lot, who are very clever and smart...I know that personally I wouldn't do a piercing for myself, as I don't like the pain and problems it causes, I just have my ears pierced once:) The bigger problem to my mind is when mothers get their daughter's ears peirced at a very early age, sometimes at the age of 1 year, at the age of 5-7 years (I think that this refers to the topic "Culture", but I believe that this 2 topics are closely mixed, so forgive me!!!:). My mom pierced her ears when she was 27, and I was 5 years old already. And she allowed me to pierce my ears when I was 14. Sorry Sancho I thought I aswered...it is common for some girls, for girls of the same age, same likes, same group...usually these are those who enter into "unofficial organizations", though I guess this is wrong, as these groups called so mostly because of the music there members listen to...and I have to admit that I adore good rock, and some people think that I belong to such an organization. But back to piercing, it's not that common here, but many girls, have their ears pierced several times (usually 1 ear is pierced several times, another is pierced 1 time), and many also have their navel pierced. As regarding the present like money...wouldn't advise that, yes it's a good thing here to present money on wedding, as to help the newly weds to start their own home, and of course then it's possible to present any "practical" things...but just to make a present of money to the relatives, seams like the man is about to "buy" their daughter...it's not the best way to present in front of the relatives. Clothes, and are you sure in her sizes??? And in the colors she like, and in the model??? I hardly doubt about that.
