1-2-3-4 Worked for the U.S. Government?(as what, a janitor)?? Russian Mob??? Hard up men who've been rejected by the women in the US and are slamming the US Government???
Wow. What's that about???????
Because I'm an elected official in the US that corresponds with women in the FSU, I'm wondering why none of the elected & law enforcement officials that I deal with daily, who know of my correspondences, have warned me about all of this??? The FBI should have been knocking on my door a long time ago telling me something about all of this.... My colleagues have asked, however, if I'm going to go in December or January...... Actually, they should've warned me about the woman I flew to Arizona to meet a couple of weeks ago. If the woman I'm meeting in California on Tuesday is a "corrupt gold digger", I guess I'll be able to figure that out very easily... What would be the difference if she was from the FSU, UK, Australia, or Egypt???
Everything is for sale in the FSU, especially their women????
1-2-3-4, have you been to any major city in the U.S. where this isn't the case???
If you're looking to buy a woman here... Just check out your local cocktail lounge!
It's good that you have no fear of the Russian kind, but you may have spent too much time hanging out with your friends in those "Low Places". It might be time to get to higher ground and take a look at what's happening in the "Real" world around you....
Tales of the Russian Mob that would make your hair stand on end??? How you got conned in the best "Sting" ever imagined??? Sounds like you've developed your very own "Urban Legend". Have you considered checking into your local mental health clinic for help?
I'm a LOT more concerned about the Meth-Lab Jocky's and the "pro-american" fanatics running drugs & stockpiling automatic weapons we have here in this country than I am about getting duped for a few bucks on a website by the "Russian Mob".
The cold war is over... We're now in a global economy.... and finding the perfect woman is not restricted to the city or county you live in.... Get off the conspiracy theories!
Mindwire, I hope you aren't making these trips on taxpayers dollars!LOL! We may be in a global economy but is sure as hell isn't a fair global economy. With Tariffs we pay for products that come in to our country. Tariffs are no more than a tax bestowed on the american consumer. Also all the regulations that is imposed on our industry to be eco safe. Damn I've been to the countries that bitch the loudest about us and not signing the Kiyoto treaty are the worst offenders of pollution. Our congressional system has strangulated american business and caused jobs to move away. We have the most restrictive regulations of anyone in the G8.
As for the pro american fanatics, which I am one, I am a law abiding citizen, I don't have a meth lab in my back yard and yes I own weapons. A man has the right in the United States to defend his life and property. I'm finishing up a small article on restrictive gun control and it's failure in America. The states which have the most restrictive laws also have the highest murder rates, it is the same in the countries with such laws. Look at Russia for example, they have over two times the murder rate than that of the US and they have the most restrictive gun laws in the world. For people with biblical knowledge please tell me the calibre of gun Cain used to slay Able with?
So please don't lump me and others in the Drug running meth lab idiots. I would prefer to be placed in the proper context of history. The British when they Marched on Lexington and Concord were not going there for the cache of tea that was stored there. They were going there to take the guns away from men who knew that freedom was going to come at an expensive price and if they gave up their weapons they would have no ability to defend themselves from tyranny. 8 Men died in that skirmish. Defending what they cherished, freedom. Most of the men that died were shot from behind fleeing in terror. An armed citizenry keeps a tyrannical government in check. As Francis Marion eloquently put it (He was known as the Swamp Fox for our public educated students)
"An elected body can trample a man's rights, just as easily as a King can." So it is our duty to be eternally vigilante with our government. I think our forefathers would shudder in their graves thinking what a socialist nation we have become. Prosecute criminals don't persecute honest law abiding citizens.
Pardon me if I take issue with the wording of your statement, Mike.
"A man has the right in the United States to defend his life and property."
That doesn't need to be qualified to only the United States. As you already know, I'm a supported of "natural rights" and that is one of them. Regardless of whether a government allows it, it's still a right.
Speaking of the latest "gun control" issues, I think you will enjoy this latest cartoon from Scott Beizer.

Last ly, I might ask (and everyone should competely reason it out) just what a "criminal" is. Ultimately, law and ethics are distinctly seperate. The current Pope (before he was the Pope) wrote a brilliant article on that subject.
Scott I stand corrected, yes that applies to every human on this planet. I only use the US as the premise for my arguements.
Hook me up with the Pope's article on law and ethics, that shoud be an interesting read. I also highly endorse Frederic Bastiat's
"The Law". It is one of two books the rearranged my political thinking. The other being the communist manifesto. The manifesto motivated me to become politically active and the The Law opened my eyes to as you put it the difference between law and ethics.
It's part of a book titled " Church, Ecumenism and Politics: New Essays in Ecclesiology". I haven't read the book itself, but just one chapter. I can't find the book around, and Amazon wants over $200, so I doubt I will purchase it anytime soon. It's possible major library would have it.
The chapter I refer to was ultimately about Christ's statement "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s". It's brilliant in that it defines the field of ethics to be the realm of the church (or some other spiritual source), since these sources aren't compulsory.
Good luck my friend. Also thanks for the cartoon, it was great. I need to find the cartoon with Randy Weaver talking to a guy in a restaurant asking him what he was doing these days, and he replies oh, I work for the feds now, doing the same thing I was doing as a civilian.
Mike;
My point was not about law abiding citizens, or owning weapons legally. If you outlaw guns, you better outlaw rocks Too! My point is that I am personally more concerned with serious illegal activity here in the U.S., rather than getting duped by the "Russian Mob" by paying a few bucks to a website. I think most of the larger sites are filled with women who would like to find a decent marriage partner abroad, and I'm sure each of them has their own reason. Obviously, there are a few bad apples out there. It's pretty preposterous to think that Organized Crime anywhere in the world would concern itself with internet dating scams to support their activity. They're more concerned with making "Real" money rather than writing letters for weeks to try to get some sucker to send them a couple hundred bucks! It would be nice if their level of sophistication was that limited.... But it's not. In my opinion, Internet Dating Scams are more often "Dis-Organized Crime", and are only possible if the victim allows themselves to be suckered. I'm not going to consider sending money to a woman I've never met any more than I would consider walking around alone in Compton California at 11:00 at night! There's just some things you Don't Do!
To be "Pro-American" and have pride in your country is great. To be a fanatic who lumps an entire society into one group and labels them all as the "Russian Mob" is pretty silly. I'm sure that Russia, Ukraine, and other countries are filled with people who are proud of their heritage & culture. I also believe that going to another country and insulting their society could be a very "Bad" mistake! With an attitude like 1 thru 4 has, it really doesn't matter what country it is... He's gonna have problems!
We don't defend our country by arming our citizens anymore, unless those citizens are members of the National Guard or other branch of our military. A group of armed citizens fighting the U.S. Government would probably not be very effective, and I'm almost sure that a couple of Apache helicopters could put an end to it in no time.... and make them all look like fools. If you need to defend your property or rights against a tyrannical government, it is best accomplished with an attorney in court.
Scott;
You might want to check with your local laws. If you pull a gun on someone for stealing your lawnmower, you might be in more trouble than he is when Law Enforcement arrives. I agree that a man has the right to defend his life & property, but there is the consideration of when lethal force is acceptable.
If anyone has a problem with our Government, I suggest becoming actively involved in the legislative process. There isn't a single law on the books that has ever deterred someone from committing a crime. It only allows society the ability to deal with those who violate our laws.
I think the point Jesus was making was; If the government requires you to pay taxes... Pay them... But give your heart & soul to God. I'd have to read it again, but this is my understanding.
Making trips on taxpayer's dollars???? Hey! I could be on the News again!.... with a big Headline that reads "Stupid" right above my picture!.....
Again, there are just some things you "Don't" do.....
Have fun guys, my opinions are just my own. Hope you all find what you're looking for.....
NAS - "For people with biblical knowledge please tell me the calibre of gun Cain used to slay Able with?"
If memory serves correctly - I believe that "caliber" was a "30-0-stab-em-in-the-back." Reloading that mother is tough - And all of the "weapons" I know that were chambered for that caliber are a little flaky
I agree with you in substance with some variations. As for the Russian Mob they are almost as invisible as the Mafia in the states. Yes, they are involved in criminal activites and it would not surprise me if they were involved in some agency scams. Any revenue flow is good, especially if it is low exposure. Agencies could be an excellent front, but I highly doubt it. It would be more of their style to extort the agencies than the men sending the money.
Now the second, laws surely don't deter criminals especially the way we enforce laws. We really don't, it goes back to changing the dept of prisons to the dept of corrections. Let's rehabilitate instead of punish.
I agree with you becoming active in the legislative process. I've worked on various campaigns for candidates and was a long time precinct committeeman in my former home town. I've been out of the game for a while and miss the competition of an election campaign.
T.East that's funny!!!! Flaky? I just wonder how much the reloader for that piece is!LOL
MW, yet we have multitudes that take on the interpretation of the Bible. I know Jesus's statement was in response about paying Roman taxes.
We can all argue amongst ourselves on the meaning, but I prefer to see Jesus's preachings as metaphysical, and not direct answers to a specific question.
In the case I mention, I refer to a chapter of a book written by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, who is now the current Pope. In at least Catholicism (outside of a visit from The Father, The Son, or The Holy Spirit), this is the most authoritative interpretation you can get.
In any, reading the mentioned article is the quickest way to see the point brought up.
