Gladiator is hurting, that is a fact. And we want to support him. I do not think anybody on the post disagrees with that. His wifes intentions nobody knows or if they do they are not here. This information is behind a blind wall. And it is best left that way for us. I will not agree that it is a good thing in his life. I think it is a tragedy for all three of them. I do not believe that a woman can give 5 years to a man having a common son and walk away without scars and pain. The post is turning to an us against them. If we harbor that attitude then as Monada said we are not fit for either an eastern or a western woman. The ladies bring out a good point. There are two sides and although we support Gladiator we should not crucify any women unless we know for a fact they are guilty and then only the guilty woman. He operated on her at a cheap rate because he was my friend. His reward was to be targeted with love letters, love cards and also visited without appointments in his surgery. His secretaries have read all of the love letters and were much more alarmed than he was. The woman that did this has not been told to leave my western country. Maybe she will be after a couple more years. This is of course not the only such damaging behavior of hers as far as getting a permanent visa goes. This doctor, also a top professor, is still married to his first and only wife of thirty years standing and they have children. In my country if a doctor has sex with a patient he becomes a criminal. His career is destroyed. For this man, his marriage and much of his wealth would also be destroyed. The community would lose a top surgeon so perhaps thousands of people would lose his skilled services for years or maybe for ever. This wealthy man is a keynote speaker at many medical conferences. His being disbarred could be a loss for the worldwide community. My wife though would become suddenly quite wealthy. So why hesitate or have scruples? I do not judge all Ukrainian women and I live in Ukraine. My wife has extremely poor ethics and morals and is utterly ruthless. Such women and men exist in all countries but in Ukraine for quite a few people it is get all you can by any means you can “”””””I guess it’s just another stupid thing that I’ve done in my life. I don’t know what’s happening and why it’s still so important to me, but it is so and I can’t do much about it. They puzzle me; I don’t have much experience with them. In my culture when a friend has been met with troubles in his life, his friends are ones to help during those troubled times, also to share when there are happy times. True this is a public forum but within this forum there are private friendships that are made. These friendships are from people spread across many different countries. This forum provides a place to keep friendships up. Glads post was to let his 'friends' know of his predicament as any friend would tell to his friends of matters in his life. It was not meant at speaking to the masses, for those that don't know Glad and feel for him great, for those that want to kick dirt at him I can only say, I pray for you. We do not need to know this kind of information to support Gladiator. But some of the posts in this thread have turned into an attack on Fsu women so it would be only natural they want to defend themselves and to discourage such an attack without even knowing the other side. First and foremost I DID NOT post here to bash the FSU or any of the ladies living there.Yes there are scams galore out there but if people are too stupid to see them then be it on their own head.There is plenty of advice about how to avoid losing a bundle,or being taken for a ride. Secondly I did NOT post for sympathy either,although the support shown to me over the past few days by friends old and new is heartening in what is a difficult time for me. From the moment I learned of my wifes intentions I was unbeleiving that anything like this could have happened.You see it's very difficult to take avoiding action when you don't know what's coming,and why should I? On the surface everything seemed rosy so it was a real body blow to be told it wasn't and that I was a part of a bigger picture. It's never easy to share misfortune,especially when it's so devastating.I don't regret meeting my wife or the times we shared,my intention in posting was to attempt to show how cruel life can be,and I hope that I have done that.I still have great respect for the women of Ukraine,and still firmly beleive they are a class apart.Certainly not walkovers and very determined in their outlook on life.I was unlucky to meet the wrong sort,and after all my experience in the FSU that isn't easy to swallow. In the West, win-win is a common outcome. In Ukraine, win-lose is the preferred outcome for many. I think any lady who is a true gold digger or visa hunter will unintentionally reveal her true character quite often, such as when angry or drunk. It is impossible to keep up a flawless act. Monada does this almost every time she posts. Quasi must indeed be a fictional character as no FSU female going West would blow her cover so often and so obviously. Thus Monada and Quasi are not a couple. But I think Monada is a female, perhaps someone who still lives in the FSU. I can’t think of any man that would be capable of such venom. The Internet is a strange place full of imaginary people with fake experience and qualifications who give advice to others. I fell for Internet baloney written by a former drug addict and Hepatitis C carrier - a Russian who had moved to the West years ago - all the marriage agency nonsense about true love, happiness and genuine, caring women. I met my wife through that lying crook. Glad is hurting. He is one of the more than 50% of Western men who will be ripped apart as their reward for marrying an FSU woman and taking her West at huge expense. Maybe another 20 or 30% split up on an amicable basis - but I rarely hear those stories. Often the woman enacts a devastating secret plan for which the man is completely unprepared. Many men lose a lot of money, their reputation, even their house. This is gratitude, FSU style. Many Ukrainian women are beautiful and it might be worth living with one. I advise doing so in the FSU, preferably remaining unmarried. I know more than one successful pairing here in Ukraine which has lasted for years. Although one Ukrainian woman shouts and screams at her de facto Western man and slaps him in the face in front of me. She even abused me once also - so I will never go back there. She behaves like a nut case, even with their child. Actually this seems to be not too rare I am afraid. I have another friend with a nutty young girl friend - big age gap - and she abuses him daily. Some guys have no pride it seems. Naturally the men in these relationships are affected by all the abuse - but put up with it because their female is hot. This girl obviously decided to look into taking advantage of her situation and decided to leave her relationship. Happens, yet I agree it was vicious - it was not illegal. There are worse women out there, but of course everyone has their opinion as to what defines worse. It doesn't look as if she were the cruel and vindictive sort who wanted to intentionally inflict psychological harm - as to cheat and carry on with another man while all this was happening and through it back in GladUK's face. So he should be counting his blessings.
