I only stayed in Nikolaev about 4 days before I 'legged it' across country in a taxi to Zaporozhye to be by the hospital bedside of my then ex girlfriend, now my wife, who was quite seriously ill at the time. As Ukrainian cities go Nikolaev is quite 'cool', lots of cafes or similar in the centre and it's quite 'square' thus not too far to walk or travel to the next place, there was one restaurant, probably a few more also, where the hookers sit inside the front entrance of the restaurant but I quite liked the bowling alley, you can eat and drink and have an evening's entertainment all in the same place. 4 days in Nikolaev, rushed to the bedside of the I quote from above, who was quite seriously ill girl friend. That left you 3 days to get married, she made on hell of a recovery for a serious illness you pathetic liar. You were only in Ukraine on this trip for 8 days.
