Batman, Approximately 1/4 of the 'educated' population of the world (that includes the USA) doesn't believe, or doubts we actually landed on the moon. And some, in the quest for their 'fifteen minutes', put a lot of effort into rebuking evidence of the moon landings - or just downright inventing theories. I suggest you put the bat computer to use and let us know what you find out. I'll take your word for it. Love myth busters.

I watched this episode several months ago so I can't recall all th details. I was able to watch it on demand from my cable box. Issue 1: There was a question of shadows appearing from two different angles as if there were two different light sources. Mythbusters was able to recreat the effect by showing if was just the shape of the shadow and not a second light source. Issue 2: People think the gravity was faked by changing the film speed. THey tried several techinigues and all were busted. Issue 3: There was some question about the formation of Neil Armstrong's footprint and Mythbusters showed that it wasn't faked. They went as far to make a composition of moon dust, with the same moisture content, make a foot print with a moon boot in a vaccuum. Issue 4: THe flag moved when the landing module took off in a vaccuum. I can't remember the details but was busted. Agaain, this is all from memory. I like the idea from someone's previous post above that the Soviets started the "landing hoax" as a propaganda tool as they were embarassed the US was able to accomplish this technological feat and they weren't.

The expansion of the rocket propellant caused the flag to move. It is a rich mixture that is not completely burned. The scientists even took this into consideration when designing the 'nozzle' on the LEM being in a vacuum. There is evidence of dust 'blowing' when they landed. The foot pads of the landing are evident as well. Sure the moon is covered in dust. But how deep is the dust? Think of sand out west in desert conditions. Many places the sand is only a couple inches deep. The soviets did not start the 'landing hoax' as you well know. People cried scam even before the event occurred. This is ridiculous to debate here.

If Apollo's 11 & 12 were conducted in studio film sets then why the hell was Apollo 13 not such a perfect mission also, why should the Yanks hold their hands up to "Houston, we've got a problem" if they were filming perfect missions in studio(s)? This was 1960's, early 1970's, lack of, special effects we are talking about, not that I have ever been in any doubt that what took place took place but the mere fact that Apollo 13 turned in to an emergency situation clarifies beyond any, educated person's, doubt that these missions were actually taking place.

Hello to Everyone, Well, about this story... I went to Novomoskovsk, RUSSIA, and I had a girlfriend there. She was a nice girl but we had some differences. Later I met a girl online in... Novomoskovsk UKRAINE!!! Now I will marry the Ukrainian girl :D According to my experience, girls of Ukraine are more conservative... Best of luck to all!!
