Besides most of the correspondense was outside the agency through your own interperter, so how can you blame Anastasia? You even sent Tatiana an appology and then you posted these comments. What kind of person are you? These women should not trust you. And what was with the pshchological tests you had her complete? I suggest you immediatly retract your false comments about Tatiana and remove her from the other two web sites you have reported her to as a scammer. The repercussions could be greater than you ever imagined. You know your comments about Tatiana Gorlakova are false! In support of Anastasia, I have had very good success with them. They are very reputable and provide excellent service. There web site is full of information about how the entire operation works and what to expect. Maybe everyone should take the time necessary to read all the informationt they provide. I have been corresponding with the same lovely lady for a while and plan to visit her in October. These women are very real and it is not a rip off. I have spoken to her on the phone, sent flowers thru Anastasia and another off site company that also provided a picture of the delivery. Most if not all of those women on that site are very real! I am taking my second trip to the Ukraine ths year. On my first trip, just about every woman I had corresponded with within 400 KM of the tour city showed up at the socials I attended. It was a blast! The biggest problem I see usually is from the mens side. I spent 4 years of my youth stationed in Germany as an Army brat and then spent another 5 years there as a soldier. I learned a little Russian while in the service and can comunicate quite well now after taking some very expensive courses. Take the time to learn a little bit about their customs, language and certain dishes (such as shashliks), be polite and be yourself. (They can spot a phoney from a mile away!) I had a wonderful time on my last trip which was through the Anastasia tours. This time I am going on my own as I have made some good friends in the Ukraine. The girl actually read my profile and asked me specific questions about my interests. And the girl was one of the prettiest girls on that site and just responded to my adding her to my favorites... Although I have read a lot of bad press about Anastasia, I had already started writing and getting involved with a few lovely, but what I thought was sensible aged girls, so continued with the 'relationships'. I was sure that the girls I was writing to were genuine. Well the time had come for a meeting, with at least one of them, I'm a bit old fashioned and don't think it right to go there with a shopping list of names, so I wrote to the number 1 on my list on thursday last week and declared that I planned to visit her next Friday asking for her response. We had been writing daily, and she had even taken time on her birthday to respond. The web site gives you feed back on days and time that the girls read your letter. I wrote at 2330 on thursday UK time, but as the site is US based, so it showed as 1730, and my letter was read 11 minutes later. Ukraine is 3 hours ahead of UK, so for those with bad math, it means she read my letter at 0241 hrs Ukraine time. Well she has already told me she doesn't have a home computer and has to go to agency to get letter..... at 0241 hrs. Riiiight. Okay so obviously my letter was that important that the agency opened up in the early hours and got her down there to read it, all in 11 minutes. Right?? Funnily enough, although she had been responding daily, there has not been a response to my letter declaring my intention to arrive. Ir may well be that she is arranging time off from work, nervous or whatever, if it was not for the intersting time issue. If no response is received in the next couple of days i will write to Anastasia demanding money back for the numerous letters I wrote and received from her. I do correspond to a girl in another site that is pay per letter( me opening), I don't like it but we send only couple letters per month, so it seems more real. What were you thinking? Waiting till the last minute to tell her you actually want to meet in person? I would not wait anymore.. tell the others you want to come, but not make a big deal about it in case there is no chemistry when you meet. I don't think any girl would have a problem with this at all. It worked wonders when I went away from the long-term letter writing campaign and wanted to make sure I would write someone when I returned. I felt the regular letter writting was an indication of interest, the letters were good, friendly and personal, not intimate but were clearly written to me, if you know what I mean. I feel for it I guess. Why plan months ahead, she, and the others all said that they wanted to meet blah blah, only so much can be said in letters blah etc. So I took the bull by the horns and went for it. That may help, they may know someone from past. I had a good one in Kiev. I got a the number from the site where I booked my apt. I know ukrainefare offers such service..just some ideas. It is almost easiest in beginning to use their translator, that way your girl feels comfortable. If she is interested in you after a couple meetings, you may not need translator or just for certain functions. Great if you knew some russian. Does Anastasia tell you when your letter is opened or just received? How about when it is read? Maybe agency has an automated system to retrieve letters???? Who knows??? Maybe an alien like in Men in Black working overtime!!!!!! I accept what you say about using agency translator, you are probably right. On the letter that I write, it records the date and time writen, then under that it just says "read date and time". It maybe an automated thingy but, on all the other letters there is a respectable delay. There is also the question of is the time when the translator reads it, but I would have thought the whole idea is to let me know when 'she' reads it, oh and I've just thought - they also fire off an automated message to my in box to say 'she' has read your letter at date and time, so I'm pretty sure. Ok, let me explain you how I come to this conclusion and what proof I have. I have been member with Anastasia for a long time. At the beginning that I felt I am dealing with a good agency who provides with good service for introduction. But, all these thought before I moved from England to Turkey. Ok, whats the connection ?? Let me answer it.. The flight from England to Ukraine around 4 hours but flights from where I am (istanbul) is only 1 hour 15 minutes to Odessa and around 1 hour 45 minutes to Kiev and then just work out between other cities. Basically what I am trying to say, for me to visit any girl in Ukraine A) less cost effective around 250 dollars return flights B) I can even go there just for the weekend as time consuming without disturbing my work ( by the way I have my own business so, there is no restriction when I can go or not) Anyway, I carried to correspodence few girls from Anastasia. Finally I have asked to those girls that they are allowed to give their adress via anastasia policy. Some gave me adress some just gave me excuse that my dad or my family does not know about this.. etc.. or some excuse... It does not really matter.. Finally I have decided to meet them... I took one week off from my work.. jump on the plane and went to Donetsk first.. Ohhh.. by the way.. girls in their letter said would be great idea to meet when I ask them that I rather meet you than writing thousands letters.. Actually, I was confidence about reality of these girls.. Because, they said they can meet... anyway I made my travel arrangments and went there.. And, Guess what ??? But, here listen my thinking about whats going on here... Agents find the girls, just give them some commission out of their pocket for each letter recieved by their popularity... We pay lots of money for each letter WE READ, WE WRITE... either way everyone makes money... Very polite answers to most letters.. convince you that they are not scamm... But heyy... I admit I was stupid enough to carry on and spend my money on just dreams... Because they drag you in to beatifull girls heaven... and you say.. ohhh... she is nice and wrote me letter... Ok, I am not saying there is not ANY honest girls here aswell.. Yes, there are... but if we put as percentage all around say 2 out of every 10 girls.. And, as soon as they find someone they get marry and they erase their membership from Anastasia.. The one replied says, Ohh.. I am really busy, I can not meet you sorry to dissappoint you etc.. If I can have time I will call you.. leave your numbers to my translater ( I dont know how da hell I am suppouse know translater number, even if I asked for that number for numerous times.. ) Basically, same thing happen again... Reason why I have done all these ?? Before I mark anyone or any business or person.. I always want to make sure before I accuse them.. But, the girls who were expecting me on 17th did not realise one thing...?? I was actually going there on the 23rd ::)) So, fail safe system.. Sorry girls .. I am business man I am not stupid.. Lucky -- Geezus if what your saying is true it would seem like a scam to me too. I was able to get the telephone of the agency translator before I arrived. I was not about to meet any girl unless I had a way to contact her while I arrived. Army of brides allowed girl to give me the #. Disappointing meeting. Girl was gold-digging scammer lying through her teeth with each letter... She dates local men, same with most all of these 'real' agency girls anyways. The whole thing is enough to make one sick. Girls can be famous for not meeting with guys. It sounds to me like they are just letter writers and do not want to meet. I am sure you are hopeful that girls did not meet you because they were not interested in you personally. I would never in my right mind meet 6 girls from same city. For one, they would not find you serious, second, many girls in same agencies share info about guys they are writing to, third, with no contact info BEFORE you meet, no way of telling how much interest girl really has for you. For me, it has probably been a 50/50 proposition about actually meeting. Have only one main girl to visit and one in case. I am here to say girls and agency managers and maybe other members of their staff do share information a man writing several women from the same agency. It is the worst situation to encounter, they do not think you are serious and that you are more than a little insincere when you write several of them and want to meet more than one for some reason. I think it has to do with their fears of encountering a man who just wants to have fun and the more severe risk of encountering the sex tourist. I had an online argument with one girl who was being fake, obviously insincere and overly cheerful about every word she wrote - then next thing I know, some other girl was writing me about the foul attitude of what this girl said about me in her agency when she recognized my profile in some other girl's stack of letters. The other agency I used in Odessa appears to have moved its services across two major websites. One is pay-per-letter and the other is this site.
