The story with her is; We had met before and got along great! Our letters were good too, before our first meeting and after. But,,, last summer 2009, her letters changed, she would let them sit unread for a week or more. She claimed to be sick, but gave few details and even fewer answers! Her letters weren’t being translated very well either, many mistakes! It turns out, it was her agency that was dropping the ball, and they were at times a week behind! I had been upset with her over this,,, and she never truly forgave me. She left the site and I lost contact with her! This last winter, I went to see someone else, and it did not work at all. I contacted someone else who I had been writing to, but she did not show up! I started looking through my notes from the previous year, and found a phone number! I called it, and Katya answered,,, and she is now in Kiev!! I did buy her things to win her attention, but also to help her out! Half of the things she bought were useful! If we were to be a couple, this is something I would have done automatically! At the first dinner together this winter, I could tell she was a little on the hungry side. She had lost about 20 lbs which gave me a few moments of pause,,,,, 1, she’s no longer eating her Mother’s cooking, and 2, having sex 1 to 10 times a day will do that??!!! Her style of clothing changed drastically!!! I didn’t get to spend as much time with her as I wanted, but we did have some good moments. I did spend a bundle on her shopping,,,, I also gave her my leftover cash,, grevnares,,, about 5,500! This was for getting her own internet hookup! I thought all of my actions would lead us to a future together. ,,,,,,, NOT!! I get home and I look for her email,,,,, there’s no email! I wait awhile,, and then I try to call! I can’t seem to get through? Sometimes I get a message in English; your call can not be completed as dialed, or,, it rings once, and then a busy signal? I know some cell phones have an “Ignore” button??? I did finally get through to her by calling at 4:00am here! She had a 101 excuses, but no good ones! So,,,, to anyone who is reading this!!! Yes! If she is a good honest girl,,,, she will want to help save you money!!!!!! If everything that we did together was a total lie during my last trip, then so was the first trip!!! There were dozens of little red flags,,, I saw them, but made excuses for her and gave her the benefit of doubt! I couldn’t believe it either, that someone could be lying for so long, so many letters, just for a “chance” to scam!! That was my biggest mistake!!! Believe me, I met this girl thru skype and then went to meet her in Kiev. She is the sweetiest thing! She never asked me for anything...not money, not gifts, not flowers, not even to go to a restaurant. All she asks is that I spend time with her. We were planning to get married until her granny got sick. Both her mom and granny demanded that she stays in Ukraine. That was the saddest day of my life when I realized that I will not be able to spend my life with the sweetest and most beautiful girl I have ever met. Her personality puts even the top "models" with whom I have met before and after to shame. I would have gladly kissed her feet than to be kissed by any agency top "model". In spite of the scammers, gold diggers, professional daters, etc.... there are good ladies in Ukraine. Just open your eyes and look in the right places By the way I still keep in touch with her and after 6 months was asked if I would attend her wedding on of these days.
