"That said occasionally we receive guest and/or walk-in enquiries of apparent undesirables (common people you may say) and we have been known to tell them that we are fully booked even though we may have availability."
Filipinos (common people) are told you are fully booked even though you are not?
In the 4+ years since this business has been open we (I) have only needed to ask two groups, in fact three groups, of guests to leave:
1. A group of four from Quebec for drugs and alcohol abuse and associated bad behaviour.
2. A Filipino couple, already staying, who had asked if we had another double room for friends they had arriving, alas we were fully booked.
3. No. 2's friends along with No.2 once we found them all in one double room, four of them, having taken the mattress from the divan to sleep two on the mattress on the floor and two on the divan base.
So there you go, on numbers of persons, that's a 50/50 split between Canadians and Filipinos, some racism that is!
Here's a typical Filipino one for you:
We'd had an enquiry for a group of 6 of them, for the dates we had just one family room (sleeps 4) and one double room remaining available, they asked the normal Filipino question of extra beds, sleeping on floors or whatever in just the family room, they were told the family room could accommodate a maximum of one extra bed at a charge, an absolute maximum of 5 persons, so they were going to need both rooms and they should hurry up and book them as they are the only rooms remaining available.
At the time we had rooms listed with travelbook.ph who were offering rooms cheaper than we offered them ourselves, however via travelbook.ph the family room was listed as a maximum of 4 persons and these smartasses booked just the one 4 person room even though we knew there to be 6 of them and I tipped off the manager at travelbook.ph that we were anticipating a problem with these guests, i informed him of our intended plan of action and he 100% agreed.
So on their day of arrival in walked 5 of them, for a room booked for 4 and to cut a longer story short we refused to check them in and sent them on their way, they forfeited their booking and money for breaching our terms & conditions.
The 5 of them boarded the tricycle still outside and drove off in one direction, a couple of minutes later it came back in the other direction with 6 of them, as we knew all along there were 6 of them, the other one had been hiding whilst 5 of them attempted to check in because we had previously mentioned that the family room could accommodate a maximum of 5.
Some people like to think that we are as stupid as they are!
"It is those who are told you are fully booked even though you are not."
Did I state that those are of any particular nationality or skin colour?
It could be you, Danny's 'nigger' as he refers to you, or Danny himself, even Andy Colvin, a fellow countryman of mine, I'd still tell you all to "fuck off, we're full" ... Oh, I am such a racist :)
"walk-in enquiries of apparent undesirables (common people you may say)"
Instead of explaining what you said or did not say, how about completely denying that when you say the "common people", it does not largely mean the common people of the Philippines.
Or, say that the common people of the Philippines are welcome in your business.
How does one determine when one is common and the others not? I, for one cannot distinguish common people from others.

The people of the Philippines are known as Philippines nationals or Filipinos, I know of no such nationality or skin colour commonly referred to as "common people".

As they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and when it is my business we are talking about then i am the beholder, the eye, of undesirables and what I say goes.
When you may develop your own business you too may have the opportunity to say what goes also RB!
When rules are thrown at me that I know didn't come from the proper authorities, profanity as if I was an animal and then posts like this, you bet I will respond. A few others did, probably from a different but the same type of reason. It is all directed at the same individual.
But my booking terms & conditions are not specific and are applicable to all guests, we don't have different T&C's dependent upon skin colour or nationality.
It was a resort nearby to here that persuaded me to write them, I was having lunch there one day when I found their T&C's, reading them made me laugh because they had got it spot on pinpointing day to day guest problems but they went farther than I have forbidding guests doing their own laundry in the rooms but then thay have a water supply problem that my place doesn't have.
