She was actually very intelligent and proud of her heritage. I enjoyed hearing about the history of her area. Ultimately, she felt we had different goals, and there was a very amicable end. My planned trip to St. Petersberg is not to mean anyone in particular. I just plan to go and see what's there. It's the so called "get my feet wet" phase. He was often a contributor to the forum and he was the gy that I had coomunicated with for nearly a year THROUGH the forum when I had a chance to meet him during a 36 hour holdover in London between flights. We took a quick tour of London often times only buzzing past the sites as, of course, I did not have time to see them all properly. No matter, though, Tim would ask for my camera and at the appropriate time, mostly at stoplights (but sometimes not) he would run into the middle of the street to get just the RIGHT shot, so that the river, the sun and the landmark were all in the right place (even if Tim himeslf was not in the right place, physically). Fortunately both Tim and my camera returned, unbroken, each time from the moving traffic - and the shots were great. ANYWAY - just got a letter from TimH - he is doing great - he went to Russia last October and met a wonderful woman. He returned again and spent the entire month of December with this woman - marrying her on December 31. They applied for her to leave Russia immediately and received it in mid January. Tim and Anna (and her young son) report that they are in the UK and doing fantastically. Tim is doing a lot of remodeling on his house and he in kept busy with his new family and regrest that he has not had an opportunity to check in on the forum for some times. But he asked me to stop and say hello to everyone for him, and to wish everyone the best in their continues searches. ANOTHER success story - they are happening all over and to those who haven't found it yet, if you look hard enough YOU WILL! Unfortunately, as I have mentioned before I will be bidding you all adieu when that happens and abandoning the email address I used here. I have to do it since I've used this forum as practically a diary and there are things in there that I really don;t want her to read. It my own fault of course for for writing as personally and critically (of her sometimes) as I have. I'll check in every once in a while but I probably won't write comments. There a better than slighly significant chance that things will not work between us - and if that is the case then I will of course rejoin you as I search again. If I can be of any assistance to anyone before that and answer any question or give any advice of course I am willing to do it. But the end is near. I have seriously never heard of a better forum on ANY subject than this one is. And I have never associated with better guys. Of course we all share a bond, which is a frustration with western women and a fascination with those from the FSU. But its more than that. Of course we have differences too - for instance some of you can spell and type coherently - alterantively, some of you are like ME. Roughly five weeks and counting guys. And I am pretty excited.
