Thunder Glock is a nice piece. I was looking at a Glock when I bought my Taurus. I really couldn't tell much difference personally for me except the price between the two. Both nice lightweight pieces that have a big punch.
"Or do you Nisse? ;)"
?
Nisse is perhaps busy phoning some Swedish arms dealer for a competitive model (?)
re. Glock: Some private individuals and some police-forces agree with you, Thunderdome.
(although I am not sure about which model(s) are chosen...)
This has taken a strange turn. But there is (some) method in the madness.
It took the detour of side arms, because some of you seem to have an interest there.
But it is really about Religion. And Politics, which is also Religion (and Marxism, supposedly against religion, is itself a religion - and a bad one!).
It's about 'us' and 'them'. -People on the 'inside' and people on the 'outside'.
-Distribution of values - tangible and in-tangible.
Whether I can covet my neighbour's donkey... (sorry!).
nasfan6, I am glad you are in favour of buying a product (in this case a fire arm) that is imported, if that is the product you want. In the example above it was actually about the military placing an order. The soldiers would prefer the best pistol, the tax-payers would prefer the lowest bidder. The employees of Colt no doubt had their opinions. And the share-holders...
(But the directors of Beretta, Italy, were quite pleased...)
Personally, I'm in favour of maximum Freedom. -That's easy for me as long as i'm 'wearing only one hat'! (-sitting in my ivory tower).
But, this might hurt a bit - just like dental work.
There is a direct -albeit slightly crooked - connection between the following:
-Individual buying imported product
-Government buying thousands of imported items
-Free Trade
-Out-sourcing
-Immigration (why should a person sweat in Calcutta if (s)he can work in air-conditioning in Silicon Valey?)
-Visa Applications (why is the government making it so difficult??)(surely, if capital and products can cross borders, why can't people?)
US has an election coming up - ask your local politician some hard questions...
PS -Just to keep you awake: My cousin Speedy Gonzales in South America produces some very good beef. And his prices are very competitive. Why shouldn't US and EU consumers benefit from that...
Nisse, Im absolutely sure you know more about Latvia and Estonia than these yanks here. Writing once to russian immigrant from Riga dont make them "Baltic dating experts".
I don't claim to have the slightest idea about women from Latvia or Estonia but if that's where you're from, I would have to say that they complain alot!
There is not a lot of reporting, if any, about women from the Baltic states here. Maybe it's because, here, the amount of women is proportionately smaller compared to others. I personally have looked at other sites dedicated to Baltic women and must say there are a lot of beautiful women on their sites also. I cannot give any kind of deep analysis of them as I am not a "Baltic Dating Expert". But I know a pretty girl when I see one. There is much more to women than just looks, so maybe you could help fill us in on what we don't know. I am sure everyone would enjoy your viewpoint on the subject.
Annika,
If it wasn't for the popularity of Arvidas Sabonis while he played basketball for the NBA, most american men would still know next to nothing about any of the Baltic States, their history, current state of affairs, or women....but then again, most men worldwide don't know much about women anyway, do we?...:)))
So, please don't complain so much or so loud, lol....it makes you ugly and undesirable by any western male standard.
let's start off with - I haven't got the foggiest idea about anything Baltic-women specific. I thought women were women, but hey, I could be wrong.
Like you - what gives you the idea that there's only yanks here? And also, that word will rub you off against them, same like if you'd used pommie, kraut, cheesy or frog.
Now, just presuming you're from the Baltic states, what should the abovementioned call you? 'Balls' would somehow not fit, and 'ticks' wouldn't sound nice either - may I volunteer 'Ballerina's'?
Such a nick surely would emphasise the feminine qualities, although the male population may take that as an insult. But you're a woman so let's just ignore them for the moment.
However, because we're such a lot of under-educated letter-writers, and add you're female and from the region in question, may we hear more from you regarding what makes Baltic women different (apart from language and/or dialect) from their Russian sisters?
Glock vs Taurus - a single look into the G's barrel will reveal both the difference and the reason why it packs that punch - you've not seen anything like it.
Ask your friendly dealer for a peek, it will also justify why the price is higher.
For competitive use the 21 superb, a longer barrel whilst the ammo is still cheap. A bit more clumsy to conceal though, unless you like the girtls asking you if you're glad to see them :))
LMMFAO!!!!Thunder, I respect my sex life too much to pack it there, I don't care if its a Glock or a Taurus.I'll keep mine in my Bianchi break front thanks!!! I've shot them both, I have a friend that swears by Glock. I look for Colt to retool and do something new, they are losing too much market share in the big caliber market.
Annika77 I don't care where the women are from, I have given up on trying to be an expert on any woman from anywhere! I think too much
emphasis is put on scamming here in these forums. Sometimes I wonder if it isn't some guys sour grapes on the most part. Hell there are rip off artists everywhere, The Baltics and FSU don't have that market cornered. I don't care if it's Los Angeles or Riga Latvia, common sense will usually keep you out of trouble. I also don't agree if a woman turns a guy down, he should come here cry that the lady scammed him. I'm going to Ukraine in November she may not like me
at all after meeting in person. I'm not going to come back here and bitch and whine how she scammed me. What will be what will be.
OK guys Im leaving. Really so sad Im not compatable to high standards of western male. Dont really know what to do now...
To thunderdom, little advice, when you ever travel to Baltic states, be careful with words dialect, russian sister, russian brother and what about yanks, I learned it from my pommie boyfriend so all complaints to him!! Bye...
