I have several academic degrees - but I never use the requirement of advanced education as a critera for selecting a lady. Perhaps i have been lucky - but I have never yet met a Russian lady who was incabable of having an intelligent discussion. They seem to be more inquisitive and intelligent than western ladies. While a degree might show some ambition and perserverence on her part - given the tumultuous economic conditions in some of the FSU countries in recent years (refering here specifically to Ukraine and Moldova) I can understand that in individual instances it may have been impossible to go to college. nasfan6 Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 10/5/2004 6:26:05 AM   Jet I would tend to agree with you. What I have found with the lady I have been communicating with, they seem as their culture is more philosophical towards life than we are here in the states. I find that interesting. Well had an interesting debate on the phone last week regarding polygamy and monogamy. In all my life I have never had a discussion with a woman regarding the inherent nature of this issue. What is interesting is this comes naturally for her, it's something of her personality and not a front to impress me. It's just the way she is. It is really refreshing to talk about things different than what happens in your daily life.
