Nasfan year 2000 i had 2 good stock whips --you know crack whips sent over from Aussie to our home st petersburg -didnt i have some fun i said listen to the mrs this Stock whip ok . we go to the park i show you how to crack it I thought bloody oath have some fun hear so i donned the slouch hat got the boots on i said ok hear we go - shes looking at this whip in amazement said to me '' darling what you use it for '' I said for keeping you in line lol lol... well into a park we went i found some decent ground ( iam pretty much master of a stockwhip ) away we went -well didnt it gather a crowd whip ''crack'' she had a 8 inch tail this whip hand made $350 job . most didnt know what it was !! talk about removed from society huh ! cops gathered i must admit i felt a bit uneasy first off ! mrs loved it i got her hold out arm ciggy pack at arms length i snapped it from her hand well fug -all the tarts wanted have a go then same as her ! I try to have a ball there totally impliment YOUR WAYS AND CULTURE ! they seem to be reluctant i would say scared of the unknown for some queer reason ive not worked out . i said to her listen dear these whips hell every brothel in st peters love a few of these ( domineering women lol ) always after a good business idea huh ! had a ball with the WHIP things got a bit testy when 1 militia guy wanted to see it i could remove his hat with the whip - i thought fugg sake if i miss --he'l have no hair and il be thrown to gulag !! so i declined i let a few guys have a go takes years of practice though -- I did fling an ice cream from a 9 years olds hand ( they asked for it ) cost me 80 rubles BUY THE LITTLE RUG RAT --another ice cream -had a good time though. thats me in Russia ''tad of the ''cowboy in africa '' scenario --i dont do the teary russian iam cigar , whip , two up ! and a ''give us a kiss'' ''to the militia !! mike00 ( rawhide lol )

I kind of like anastasia.date but agree with Olga and jetmba the most. Fact is losers going to find hot girls over there....let me save you time. JUST STAY HOME! Other mentioned if girl won't send you a letter, or email you privately saying it's too expensive for them, lie and should be kicked to the side of the road. As for some saying you have to go on 2+ trips. That is not true either. But the most important thing to do is build a relationship before you go, and keep it up after coming home. As for the Anastasia tours...40 guys usually = 2 finance visas per group and those are usually the only 2 guys who bothered to learn the girls they got engaged to before meeting them. As for the others: I make this point, if you were in the girl's place, how easy do you think it would be to convince your parents to let you go away with a man who you just met for the first time? Maybe it has less to do with the girls being scammers and more to do with you not getting to know them. As for girls who say the men in their country are bad to them, that's just a pick up line. If you fall for it, shame on you!

I agree Jerry, i know many good men here in Ukraine. They are good fathers and husbands but I do have to admit there are alot of bad ones too. As far as the ladies here. If you are a good looking man then you have no problem at all picking up a lady, even on the "street" I was in Kherson this past week to work with and help my orphanage kids and It easy to pick up a girl on the pedestrian walk by the river. The biggest key is knowing the language and you will be a success. Its a numbers game just like America. you will meet some bad ones in order to meet a good one. My Kharkov girl turned on me on this trip after our 3rd time of staying together for days at a time. when I wasnt willing to keep spending money. boned her one last time and split this morning back to Kiev on the train. Still had the best "O" in 2 years yesterday:) To be sure there are lots of scammers but its best to learn the language, the culture and the places you will visit BEFORE you go. That way you wont be an easy target

One of the guests showed me this forum and after years of trying to ignore you all I'm finally going to take this opportunity to offer you guys a little inside information. Take some advice from someone who has lived in Ukraine for 4 years. Someone who owns and operates Backpacker/Traveller Hostels in Kiev, Odessa, and Sevastopol. Someone like me. I see romance tourists, sex tourists, and wife hunters all year round, years after year, all with the same unrealistic goals, ridiculous expectations, and no grasp of the country, the people, or the women here (except that they think Ukraine supermodels will crawl over broken glass to marry a pot-bellied, 50 year bloke with NOTHING to offer but a US or Euro zone passport) You have no idea what you are doing. If you don't speak decent Russian you are pretty much wasting your time. If you don't have months to spend here at a stretch, then you are wasting your time. If have to rely on a dating/introduction/marriage agency, you are wasting your time AND your money. If you are on a Romance Tour you are wasting your time, ....but at least your money is not wasted because all the girls will be getting paid, as will the interpreters, the taxi drivers, the hotel manager, the concierge, the bartenders, and every other hanger-on in the industry .....and that's what pathetic, middle aged, lovelorn foreigners are here in Ukraine...you are the basis of an exploitative industry....and it's not the girls that are being exploited.... No...It's you, stupid. When you strike out here as well, will you have the intelligence and the introspection to comprehend that the lack of social skills that handicap you with women at home will certainly handicap you here as well? Well probably not. Because you think everything and everybody else is the problem... But you'd be wrong...It's you. Its no use blaming; Women in your own country; Germaine Greer, women's lib, and western ideas of Feminism; The financial demands of the modern westernised woman; Hollywood stereotypes; Or the breakdown of the traditional family unit. I like previous post. Yes you have lived there for many years. So your views and perception of live did change. So you advice is 50% useful. There are still many girls there who would go for 50 y.o boys with passport only:) It may not last long, but the men will get enough of good time. if you go to any organized tour you will pay to all the parties that you mentioned. There are many many men who travel by planning themselves and getting everything under control. So, everything is not that bad if some guys travel to meet girls 20 times and then get what they want eventually. I'd like to hear nice comments about previous post.

lol@lacondra. I actually agree. Harsh but true. Seen some real lulu's (wierd foreign guys with no social tact at all) in Odessa. This is why I don't let it well known that I am a foreigner whenever I spot these guys. Doing business in Ukraine gives you a better prospective on the ground than flying high in the pie sky when these guys wearing hoodies, wind-breakers, baggy jeans, t-shirts, pot-bellies and tennis-shoes show up trying to meet/bang a babe. ;) I remember one of these guys trying to zero in on my girl (on my first date), dressed accordingly, although add in glasses, bald-head, sandals, harley-davidson t-shirt and a big big pot belly on a skinny boddy and about 65 years of age! He saw me come to greet her and he sped off as fast as he could. But also remember its not just foreigners, I've seen local boys (more than a few) at the dance clubs staring and staring at my girl, who were dressed no better. And cared nothing my fiance was wearing an engagement ring and dancing with me at the time. So to label only foreigners as having no chance? No, just take a walk and see the young guys of Ukraine who have no job doing the same thing too... ;)

Oh and btw, you can have a relationship with an FSU girl WITH a translator. It all depends on her interest level and the money you have to pay for a translator. If your worried about affording $10-$20 an hour for just a weeks worth of meetings? Than you really should spend time away from letter writing and learn the language (as well as she should too). Otherwise you can hire a secretary. On a personal note, I even met her family and friends through a translator. None of them speak English, but we are good friends because I take the translator (nice girl who hopes the best for us) along with us. After a while it is automatic. But we speak directly through Skype. Automatic software translators help a lot too.
