You know people, I dont think I have enough life left to keep up with postings at this speed !!! I was here 3 days ago and there was zilch new, I come here tonight and there are dozens of new threads all going over Old ground, again !!!
Some of you need to find worthwhile jobs !! Or a woman in the FSU to keep you occupied you little scamps :o))
Donkey,
Now you really made me laugh, seriously, I really enjoyed reading your post. Was that the best you can do to threaten me? LOL!!! Yes, my dear donkey, I live in the Land of the free, and I love it. Unlike you donkey, I think before I speak. If you think I have threatened you in any way, it is your problem, not mine. It is called perception Jack ass. Do I wish you death? No, because you are irrelevant in my life. You are nothing to me. A fly crossing my field of view is more important than you will ever be in my life. If you are for real, and you are in normal life the same pathetic individual who has been posting a number of idiotic comments for the past few days, I would not even take you as a client. You have the strange power that a few individuals have to putrefy everything you come in contact with. Honestly, I have met very few individuals with such a low self-esteem and in need of attention as you have. GET HELP, if you can find a therapist who is willing to put up with your crap. As far as fearing you or your family coming after me...Dont be stupid! Can you read? If you can, read the federal laws concerning terrorist treats either personal or through the use of the internet. But since I doubt you have the intellectual capacity of fully understanding, let me help you. If I was to tell you...Donkey, I want to kill you (which I have never said), you could actually file a complaint with the FCC/FBI. And their response (if you get one) would be... IT IS NOT AGAINST THE LAW TO THREATEN TO KILL SOMEONE. It only becomes a crime when the person making the threat is actually planning on carrying out the threat, in which case evidence such as plane tickets to your place of residence, knowledge of your personal information, your family, etc. should be collected. GET IT? You ignorant poor excuse for a human being. In your chaotic and idiotic scenario, your family would obviously try to come after me in civil court, but no coherent lawyer would take such a case. Let us assume that your family finds a lawyer who is willing to go after me because he/she wants to make some money out of your family...In such case, I would be the one going after them for wasting my time with a frivolous claim and for defamation of character since your familys claim would have no merits. You may think...no big deal, the worst thing that could happen could be that my family loses in court, and then it is over. WRONG! If you make such a claim without merits against any individual in my profession, it could be extremely costly for you or your family, because such claim could be easily argued by a good lawyer (and I have one who is a friend of mine) to be malicious and with the intent to harm my reputation. In that case, I would go after you for the cost of my education, practice, retirement, and even for the cost of therapy for myself for the rest of my life. And trust me, I would get it. Sounds like fun, doesnt it?
But seriously donkey, think twice before you ever threaten somebody again, and think a lot longer and get informed before you plan to carry on with such threats. DONT be stupid!! You made me laugh at first, but then you really pissed me off because I had to write this e-mail, which I encourage you to forward to the FCC/FBI if you are really serious about it you idiot. Other than that, I think I am done. Get a life!!
Ben,
I liked your info about PTSD and all the rest; I would just like to say that within the last decade, a lot of research has been done in PTSD, and now there are actually a number of treatments that can benefit individuals with PTSD such as soldiers, rape victims, 911 survivors, etc. PTSD is classified as an anxiety disorder, and for most victims, the disorder has a high comorbidity (happens at the same time) with depression. So, antidepressants (which are used to treat anxiety and depression-Zoloft, Paxil, Luvox-) are quite effective in controlling a lot the symptoms PTSD a victim may experience. Yet, there is the issue of the reliving of the traumatic event(s) which can be controlled with therapy. You mentioned by talking which can be helpful; however, by far the most successful form of therapy for PTSD individuals is behavioral therapy which includes in vivo exposure (being forced to relieve the event that provoked the anxiety in the first place). You are probably thinking...how can you relive a war? This is actually done through movies, big screens, surround sound, and dark rooms. And it works wonders. The success rate for individuals with PTSD is actually high and fast (12 week treatment), the problem is that many of them prefer not to seek help and just deal with their demons on their own.
I am laughing again Donkey,
How old are you....10? I found the so called death threat...
Although Olga already sent the donkeyman to the glue factory. Do you consider that a death threat? You are even more stupid than what I thought. Where in earth are you from? Get Help!!!
Tradman---I can respect how you feel about therapy. There's a lot of people who feel the same as you. I myself used to be one also. My therapy was throwing back a bunch of cold ones and running any problems by friends. We were our own therapist. It worked great except for the hangovers the next mornings, lol.
Eeyore
It is better to keep one's mouth shut and be considered stupid, then open ones mouth and remove all doubt. One last thing, did you serve in Viet Nam, I doubt it, I doubt if you ever served your country period. I'm a member of the VFW here in the states and I support my former vets from Viet Nam, they are heroes to me. I don't care what war a person serves in, until you've been in a combat zone then share your acumen with me. Until then, go to a proctologist and get your head removed from your ass.

DAX-- Thanks for your info on PTSD. Obviously your info is much more current than mine. But that doesn't surprise me since I got my info from a small VA Hospital that just barely has what you would call a psych unit. Other than the medications you mentioned that can control some of the symptons; that VA offers nothing else but group therapy. It certainly is a shame and a disgrace that the VA would not have the most current treatments available for all the vets. Since that is the only place many vets feel anyone would ever come close to understanding how they feel.
It's like a catch 22 type of thing. They have no private insurance, so they have to go to a place that tries to put a bandaid on it and sends them on their way.
Unfortunately, many vets become disillusioned with the program and just drop out.
I sympathize with you Ben, I know the VA system is a joke, and it is just sad that our government prefers to invest billions of dollars of our tax money to liberate people that would prefer to be left alone, than to help the millions of Americans and their families who have been victims of the many wars and combat situations in which we have been involved in the past 60 years.
I dont know where in the States you live, but for the most part, you can get excellent care at state university clinics. Usually the top doctors and researchers work there, and since mental disorders such is the case of PTSD are receiving so much attention, most universities are always looking for volunteers for treatment. Some of the best states universities that I know are doing extensive work in the area are UCLA, UCSD University of Oregon, Etc. Basically what they are doing right now is validating the treatments that are already out there. Personally if I had PTSD I would not take medication, unless I was suicidal, but I would gladly volunteer to an in vivo exposure treatment; and that is actually the treatment of choice as I mentioned before.
DAX--Thanks again for the info. I live in NC so I will check out Duke and a couple other teaching hositals here in state to see if they offer the treatment you described. Take care
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
Sancho, just like the Don Quijote sidekick, you're confused and misinformed, but I hope you are well intended....
The donkey everyone has been referring in here lately means the idiotic Eeyore who recently was terminated by Olga, our operator.
Pitchka is righ...read the posts.
(and lose some weight, that panza es una verguenza!!)
Sancho nobody says you're like him, at least as for now:) Just kidding:)
That person was too pessimistic...and as far as I noticed nobody did understand his reason of being here...
