This is Obamas plan for peace:
Can we talk to the president of Iran and take his word not to develop a nuclear missile-"yes we can"
Should we the trust president of Iran that he will not follow up his threat to"wipe Israel off the map"-"Yes we can".
Gemini who has dismissed communism?? It's standing at our front door here in the states due to the like minded people like you. Also my friend I do not fear Islam, I don't fear my enemies. Since 911 there have been over 12000 lethal attacks world wide by Islamic terrorists. Being a conservative I did not agree with the Patriot Act, that's way too much government intrusion. That's why we have the CIA and FBI. I also didn't see the need for the Department of Homeland Security. The greatest expanse of government is coming under the guise of economic recovery. Obama who is loved by the leftists is seeking more government control than any previous to him. It's Marxist theory and that is what he is, a Marxist.
How do we get the Hussiens, Mugabe and laughingly the Bushes. Well it is done by leftist thinking. That's why America is not a democracy, but a constitutional republic. Only in a democracy can a Hitler come to power and stay in Power.
Empires didn't fall because of changing circumstances, Religions didn't become reduced by affluence but by the marginalization of secular humanists. The religion that you follow but deny it exists. They destroyed themselves from within. US is doing it following the ethos of the counter culture of the 1960's. They who are of the same mindset like you, have systematically destroyed America's history and heritage. You attack traditional foundations and heritages. Work hard at destroying and denouncing all who are religious.
T.S. Eliot was quoted, A people without religion will in the end find that it has nothing to live for. Christians have been dispossessed by a militant minority, whose beliefs are not what real Americans believe. They have captured the Supreme Court with it's lunacy about seperation of church and state. What has happened now is the Old Moral order based on Judeo-Christian values, have now been replaced with new moral order of the Humanist Manifesto. This was not done by popular vote but by court diktat.
You said I worry about death. Not me pal. I won't be begging God for my life when my time comes. See real Christians don't worry about death nor do we fear it. Just like I don't fear Islam because I know what it is. Churchill hit it best back in 1899.
More violence from the Koran......
“Whosoever followeth any religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted of him in this life, and in the next life he shall be of those who perish” (3.85)
“I will cast a dread into the hearts of the unbelievers” (8.12)
“Therefore cut off their heads, and strike off all the ends of the fingers. This shall they suffer because they have opposed Allah and His Prophet, and whosoever shall oppose Allah and His Prophet, verily Allah will be severe in punishing them” (8.13)
Last weekend, a group of Muslim radicals raided a village in southern Chad in an effort to forcefully convert all to Islam. They burned down four churches and 150 houses, and killed several people. This is a huge threat to the fledging Church in our country.

Nice comeback...
So what's with the avatar? Is your background that of wandering minstrels? Or perhaps a coal miner?
Reading through this thread of religion, peace and violence...you're offending a large portion of our population.
Practice what you're preaching hypocrite.
TD I'm missing something. Who is the large portion of the population that sooty is offending? Blacks? Would it be offensive if I used Louis Farrahkan as my Avatar? How about Al Sharpton who cost a NYPD officer his career and was sued by that officer who won the case and Sharpton never paid off. I guess the folks that started the Al Jolson website where this same picture can be found is offending to them? The Jazz Singer is still a classic in many circles and Jolson who was a Jew is beloved. I think many folks need to drop the idiocy of race and worry about things that are more significant and at our doorsteps at the moment. Race Hustlers are bigger bigots than some here are being accused of. Though you can only be a bigot or racist if your white. Farrahkan is a Reverend remember.
I agree with Nasfan and his observations.
Jeremiah wright and his gangsters are of the same mindset as Farrakhan. This clown Jesse Jackson said he thought Obama was "too white" for his own liking. But Jackson still blubbed like a joyous baby when obama was elected though.
I'm not accusing him of being racist. Using the photo can be viewed that way. "Blackface" was very popular up until 30's and 40's but with the
civil rights movement it became seen as racist. Now is a different culture, time to change. Al Jolson was a great entertainer and I too think "The Jazz Singer"
is a classic. Maybe the avatar is a tribute to Jolson, to Jews, to Jazz or to vaudeville. Just explain it to me. Using Farrahkan would be offensive to me but he has many followers and supporters as do other inciters of hate. But by using blackface, you are painting an entire race with a negative broad brush.
Using Sharpton, I would think you had some hair issues. Yes, Farrahkan is a reverend. So was my grandfather and my brother...and so?
If it was an innocent gesture, fine...leave it. I just do not understand it.
Fair enough TD. Sharpton and Don King both have hair issues. Perfect example of reverse bias. Larry Holmes who I admire as a man and a boxer once called Don King the black Satan. Could a white guy get away with that? I have a few black friends that don't buy into the race baiting, one is a close friend of 25 years and attended my wedding. You're family may have reverends, but I do not consider Farrahkan as one. Again, the teachings of Islam evoke evil and racism even on our own shores. Elijah Muhammed was no saint, just ask the family of Malcom X.
Sootys avatar is meant to provoke. If you think its innocent your a bit naive. Why start this topic with a name "sooty" and such a picture. In the UK recently Prince Charles as labelled racist because he called a friend sooty. I don't think its racist just people way to politically correct but here its being used to provoke.
Ben sometimes provocation is a good thing. Is it being used to provoke because he's having a conservative viewpoint? Is it provocation that he is echoing a warning about Islam? Is provoking thought incorrect? Is sootys warning about what's happening in Great Britian and the rest of Europe incorrect? If it is he is in line with many Authors who have written about this subject as of late. I mean seriously, how can the number one male birth name be Muhammed in Great Britian if something isn't going awry? Western Culture is dying on the vine and the leftist mindset is selling down the river. For what? A more pristine lifestyle? They tried that once before in 1917 and it failed 75 years later with the cost of millions of lives.
The problem with words, like "provoke" is now a taboo word, like with the US terrorist isn't being used in the political arena. So in the leftist mind if we isolate certain words as racist bad or what ever they take the right to free speach away. Racist is the big word, put's one on the defensive immediately. I've been called a racist and bigot in this thread, which I am neither but it cast dispersions on a person, but I won't go on the defensive because I know who I am. When we take provocation out of the arena of free speach we then we don't have free speach!
If sooty was trying to be racist against Arabs, I think he would have Chosen another Avatar. For all we know Sooty could be Lennox Lewis then the whole racist idea could be tossed out the window.
Sooty, I happen to Like Texasdude, but I have to give it to you, that was a classic retort. You could plug many different people into TD's spot here.
It does amaze me how some look at this situation. We are more concerned with labeling people as bigots and racists because they stand on principle. My all time favorite in the US is hate crimes. WTF, the ultimate form of hate is murder, it doesn't exist only if you're black, gay or what ever persuasion you may be. Maybe we should depict these terrorist attacks as hate crimes then maybe the leftists will get on board, I'm sure in all the terror above listed by Sooty, there were a few blacks, a few gays and lesbians involved. They just had a wonderful exposition in Iran of gay hangings(sarcasm). Maybe we just need to change our words.
Who said hes not offened by any of those terrorist attacks committed by a small number of people and condemned by the majority of muslims. If someone came to this forum and supported such attacks them people would be offended but no one is so the retort is meaningless. If hes worried about the "multiracial Muslim experiment of Britain" then he should actually do something about it and not sit back like most britians and complain but do nothing and let people walk all over them. Pointing out a number of crimes by muslims isn't really useful or quoting the koran so as to explains that all muslims are bad people.
Is he really worried about Muslim teenaged girls in Indonesia? tourists in Egypt? I doubt it, its probably more likley hes pissed off with the muslims living next door and he doesn't have the balls to deal with them himself so he comes to this forum (about dating/married to Russian women). Even the avatar makes him look like a coward, he wants to insult but he doesn't have the balls too.
Ben please give me 10 prominent Muslims that condemn these attacks? They won't because they will have a death warrant on their heads.
In regards to Sootys writings it is very similar to what Thomas Paine did during the revolution. So was Paine a coward. First we don't know if Sooty is active or not? I'm politically active here in the states and I stand firm on the destructive menace at most of our doors. I guess Winston Churchill was a complete idiot when he described Islam in 1899 in the book The River Wars. He nailed it to a "T" and that was over 100 years ago.
our comparing Sooty to Thomas Paine and Winston Churchill? oh dear.
Heres your 10+ prominent muslims just for you nasfan. Question for you, which ones have death warrants their heads?

“All Muslims ought to be united against all those who terrorize the innocents, and those who permit the killing of non-combatants without a justifiable reason. Islam has declared the spilling of blood and the destruction of property as absolute prohibitions until the Day of Judgment. ... [It is] necessary to apprehend the true perpetrators of these crimes, as well as those who aid and abet them through incitement, financing or other support.
