My views on that video,,, I thought it was extreme too, but I know things aren’t so rosy in countries that have gun control. I posted it for the shock value with danny mostly. California has many gun laws,,, crime is 9 % higher than Texas. Chicago’s crime rate is much higher after gun control. He kicked off his re-election campaign by comparing himself to Ronald Reagan. I have listened to just about all of Ronald Reagan's speeches on YouTube. Many of them, I listened while he was making them years ago. I have several unpublished signed autographs from him. I even saw him twice. There is one thing Barack Obama is not is Ronald Reagan. He is the complete opposite. He is a master manipulator of data. When the auto industry gained about 1,500 employees, he went in front of the American people and claimed credit for the biggest increase of auto workers in history. Percentage wise, he was correct. But number wise, he was tens of thousands off. No one called him on it. It didn't sound right. I didn't see any big news about auto worker hiring except from the White House. I didn't see any new cars on ads. I found the data on Fact Check a few days later. I just noticed that congress has another bill to repeal Obamacare on CNN. (I said I don't have cable, but I do - the very basic, or just the local and network channels. They give me CNN). The promise that President Obama gave to lower the premiums are now taking center stage. The healthcare premiums will now skyrocket 288% to 400%. It will be more prevalent later this year. There are thresholds for businesses to lower their costs - part time workers working 29 hours or less, and 49 workers. Even in his diminished state,,,, I’d choose him over Obama!! My state had a major wildfire this week up in northern Wis,,, about a six hour drive from my home. We could smell the smoke from here. They put it out in only a couple of days,,, an fantastic achievement. But then I began to think,,,, like a gun hating liberal! He took two principles and ran with it - small centralized government and peace through strength. LR, all politicians measure their effectiveness in their first 100 days in office, so I don't know. Mit Romney even had his own promises in his first 100 days. GH Bush was not as staunch as Reagan. I was deeply disappointed when he broke his "read my lips" no tax pledge. He did that when businesses started laying off people. The no tax pledge was broken by increasing the luxury tax. Of course, that made the problem worse. The workers for the luxury items laid off more workers. Bill Clinton used GH Bush broken promise as the cornerstone of his campaign and won. Obama and the liberals used Bill Clinton's robust economy to prove that liberal policies work. Clinton presided at the birth of the internet. A whole new segment of the economy was created - the internet. You could credit him for that, and Al Gore tried and failed. In the beginning, just the name of certain dot coms were sold for millions. Sex.com took the record, selling for $16 million. All of that was a bubble and GW Bush inherited a relatively small recession. Ronald Reagan inherited an economic mess from Jimmy Carter. It was much like what Obama inherited. Their cure is the same. Spend your way to prosperity. The big difference is much of Obama's spending is borrowed mostly from China. I watch the congressional sessions. These proceedings on the IRS are looking more and more like the presidential election was stolen. It is important to state that no one has directly claimed that yet. Throughout the election, we were told that Ohio was a key state. Win Ohio and you win the presidency. Maybe it isn't that simple, but Ohio is definitely a very important state if you want to win the presidential election. The IRS started targeting conservative groups in Ohio on their tax exempt status in 2010. The former IRS chief declined to name those who were involved. "I don't know." Questions asked were to provide their Twitter, Facebook records, what books have they read and what is your relationship with so and so (members of the tea party).
