Language is also important. are you going to pay a 12/hr translator every day??? take translator to your bedroom??? you MUST be confident in yourself to be successful here. Airfare, taxi, apartment, translator, and visa. I paid for it two weeks in advance,,,,, then lost contact with the girl in Tver’ until the night before my departure. She claimed that her mother was sick, and had spent that time with her?! (a lie) While waiting for her letter, I came across a story online about the (Behappy2day/onewife) websites and the city of Tver’. This story told about how a guy paid for his trip and meeting, and how the girl disappeared after they got his money. It also told about a translator/interpreter that was starving,,, and her name. Well,,, guess who I dined with for 2 or 3 meals a day during my week in Tver’? She looked like a ghost when they picked me up at DME,,,, but was quite healthy when I left. I didn’t mind, we went to economical places that had great food. This also the same interpreter that proposed to me at the airport. Those stories that I had read were from this forum,,,, I had already paid for most of my trip,, so I couldn’t cancel, but who knew that story could be so accurate ?! The story about Tver’ was 100% negative and 100% true. They also kept trying,,, constantly,, to get me to meet others,,,, $50 each,,, just like the story had warned against. What do we need warnings from,,,, the good?? No,, you need to be warned about the bad,,,, the bad can cost a guy big time. It’s good to write about successes,,, but we are all different,,, different styles, hometowns, ways of life, looking for different women. What someone else did to find someone, really isn’t going to help many,, we are too different. I’ve used websites and agencies not because I like them,,, but because I want to know the girl and to know if I have a good enough reason to make the trip to meet her. Learning that all of your efforts were a huge waste of time, kinda sours your opinion on FSU dating. Six dating websites including this one,,, all had bogus, agency written letters. I’ve tried looking on Vk a little,,, but still find the same insincerity. Most really are not looking to leave the FSU,,, they want you to come to them,,,,, and don’t forget to bring your money!!! The locals don’t like this kind of thing to be posted,,,, but it’s not a matter of pride,,, it’s a matter of hurting their pocketbook!! That's because the function of vk is not to find a mate, like it is on the dating sites. It is connecting and finding friends, as it is on Facebook. Some there do not even believe that dating sites work in finding a real man. Of course you have to go to them. Visa restrictions and financial conditions make it difficult for them to come to you. The scammers there are more noticeable. They immediately become intimately during or immediately after introduction. I have never had anyone ask me for anything there except the scammers. They just "like" my posts and ask what it is like in the US.
