A "Force feeding" is now in effect in eastern Ukraine. An invasion with Red Cross involved. The Red Cross in California has had the board removed and questions of funds used inappropriately, now they are involved in an invasion. Never again on my dollar!!!!!!
Red Cross assisted Putin in a cloak of legitimacy regardless of any action or inaction. Putin has learned from Obama, take action on Friday and let the proletariat take the weekend off to forget. If NATO has any balls, they will blockade the Bosporus Straights and Ukrainian forces should sink the Russian ships in Ukrainian's Sevastopol harbor, effectively blocking the shipyards.
Ms. Merkel is once again running her mouth. In the days before the downing of the airliner, she was ready to recognize Crimea as Russia. Now she is sounding off as the one to decide Ukraine's government structure. Once again as 75 years ago. Germany and Russia carving up Europe. I have an idea for peace in the Middle East, relocate the border of Israel along the banks of the Rheine.
How is that for a simplistic appeasing policy.
My version of translation:
Merkel also made clear that Germany does not recognize the Russian annexation of the Crimea peninsula. "The annexation of the Crimea is wrong," she said. "That's why we will continue to call wrong by its name, as wrong."
According to Kyiv Post, she also said that the annexation "was in violation to territorial integrity of Europe and if we recognize this principle than this may happen all over Europe ... So it’s important to recognize the territorial integrity (of the borders established) after the Second World War."
Durak that is her position now,,, after the downing of the airline. It only shows her propensity for political expediency. "Today the wind blows from Vichy" Claude Rains in Casablanca. However you missed the reason for my irritation,,, it is the Ukrainians decision of what type of government they have, who they trade with, when they have elections and conduct those election under their own terms. Return the nukes to Ukraine, as the commitment in removing them was an idle promise...
The parading kidnapped Ukrainian soldiers in Donetsk will be remembered. Though family sees their loved ones, it is a snap shot of condition and verification of existence. It will back fire on those in command and those pictured guarding these soldiers. They will be held accountable. Soon the best they can expect is to be banished to Russia.
From Geneva Convention Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, Article 13:
"prisoners of war must at all times be protected, particularly against acts of violence or intimidation and against insults and public curiosity. Measures of reprisal against prisoners of war are prohibited."
Of course, this will have no meaning to the "separatists" fighters, the great majority of whom are Russian citizens (recently, one of the leaders publicly bewailed the failure of Ukrainian citizens to join their "army").
Everything they do is an outrage against international law, and norms of civilization.
Once again these idiots will have the wrath of the civilized world. I have again lost my patience and charm. The little cunt leading the procession and men like that will likely get drunk and make her rounds with them,,,,,,,,,she'll probably want more than they can give her.
The traitors weren't in such bad straights and in need of Russia humanitarian aide if they had beer, eggs and tomatoes to throw at captives. Pieces of shit!!!!
NEW INVASION: RUSSIA ATTEMPTING LAND BRIDGE TO CRIMEA?
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-28924945
Today, a column of Russian armor from the territory of the Russian Federation along the coast of the Sea of Azov toward Mariupol. Ukrainian officials say that their armed forces stopped the column east of the town of Novoazovsk. (If you don't have your map handy, this is the "road to Crimea".)
Note well that this invasion took place at least 50 kilometers from the nearest separatist-controlled territory in Ukraine, but only about 5 kilometers from Russia. It is inconceivable that such an invasion force could have come all the way south from Donetsk or Luhansk without Ukrainian forces observing it.
**** This invasion can ONLY have come from Russia itself -- nowhere else. ****
Only Putin knows what this is about. Certainly, part of his dream was to annex enough of Ukraine's territory for Russians to reach Crimea by land. Maybe this attack is just a feint to sow confusion.
But Russia reportedly has very large forces in Crimea itself. If they strike out to the northeast, then we can be sure that Russia has decided to take all of southeastern Ukraine.
Without a coup d'état in Moscow, there will likely be WWWIII. Even if only severe sanctions that will surely come, to a depth not even realized in the Kremlin, Russia will suffer beyond what can be allowed to happen without some sort of rational persons in the Kremlin taking control.
RUSSIA'S FOREIGN MINISTER ENDORSES VIOLATION OF GENEVA CONVENTION
From the same article I cited above:
"Mr Lavrov also commented on the parading of captured Ukrainian government soldiers by rebels through the centre of Donetsk on Sunday.
Crowds lined the streets chanting 'fascists' as the dishevelled-looking prisoners walked by.
Mr Lavrov said this was 'nowhere near mistreatment' and that Ukrainian fighters' actions often amounted to 'war crimes'.
'I saw images of that parade and I didn't see anything close to what could be considered as humiliating,' he said."

This is not a small matter. The "Donetsk People's Republic" is of course not a real state, it is a Kremlin creation to provide cover for Putin's plan to destroy Ukraine.
However, the Russian Federation is a real state, and a participant in the Geneva Convention (III) of 1949. [Note: the Convention was signed by the Soviet Union; as with many other treaties in force at the time the Soviet Union was dissolved, Russia took on or "inherited" the rights and obligations of those treaties.]
It is generally accepted throughout the world, that a parade of POWs such as just took place in Donetsk is very far -- and absolutely clearly -- over the line of violating the duty of Convention signatories to protect POWs "against insults and public curiosity". Most signatories take this very seriously.
But one of the highest officials in the government of the Russian Federation, has said that this crime is A-OK.
