I was talking to an american in Odessa. He was quite satisfied with Anastasia and had met several nice women through them. One he was planning to take back with him. He had spent 2 months there on a wife hunt. Personnally I think there are better avenues that cost next to nothing. "just another bad agency top to bottom" did check other profiles to see if intros fit there photos in lugansk, they did. cheeky mongrels, the aliens qwe Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 10/13/2007 10:10:55 PM   hi. it seems like i could be kind of a victim with this, too:( so please let me tell you my story. i had correspondence with one girl from anastasiaweb for almost one year and we were writing once or twice a month. we have been talking about meeting each other and she wanted me to get there. some time after she finsihed her studies i had a good opportunity to get holidays on work. i wrote her that i was planning to visit her on that specific weekend in a month and would send the details about the flights and hotel later. she was glad about my plans and asked me to send those details as soon as possible because she would travel to her gandmother now and from there she could not properly check her mails. (@luckyonline - seems like grandmothers play a significant role in the game;) ) well, as long as i was preparing my trip she 'updated' her profile on the site. this was very confusing for me because she could not receive my mail in this time. so i got into contact with the customer support asking them to forward my booking data to the girl. they were very helpful and kind to me and also saw that she was updating something. therefore they did their very best to help me and reported every step to me. although the story was already suspicious to me i flew to ucraine. on my second day there i got a call to my hotel (the number was in my message) by a lady from anastasiaweb. she told me that she was trying to call the girl and just got her parents. according to them my girlfriend had an accident at her grandma's place and would now be in a hospital for at least some weeks. i wanted to go there and leave some flowers for her at the reception but this was not considered to be possible. i got her personal email address and later that dmitriy from the customer support was asking me to confirm the story as he had heard it. since that time i got no further mails, neither from the girl nor from anastasiaweb and the girl's profile did not come back to the site after the update process. call it scam or the facts - it's up to you now. cheers Olga Moderator send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 10/13/2007 11:39:09 PM   qwe, just for comparison, how much did you spend on Anastasiaweb on letters? apal1 Member send PM   block PM add to buddies Send: 10/13/2007 11:49:14 PM   I'm done with Anastasia. Here is why. Do you know that when you use your credit card, they keep it in their permanent records? When you delete your previous account, you must tell them to manually delete your old one by personal request. I tried an old credit card from a few years ago, when I first joined and it hadn't expired yet? It too would not work - because it was still in their records in their permanent files. So after I rejoined with Anastasia? It took three weeks of going back and forth with them on removing the credit card information, and why they stored them permanently in the first place. To one of their customer service reps trying to convince me they didn't store them at all... Ok, I purchased 2 credits yesterday. One letter was from a previous penpal I corresponded to earlier. I read her email thinking of course she recognizes me, my entire profile is pretty much the same... same name... same photos... Exact same form letter she sent me originally several months ago... I mean it sounded sincere when I first read it, and when I re-read it again, it sounded so fake it was disturbing... I had a friend had even worse she told him all ok, and he travel to Turkey she showed at the airpot small piece got to the hotel and she left right after and so her when leaving Turkey at the airport. Other friend he travel and spend the 10 days alone neither lady showed up Kiev and Odessa. I also her other lady also from hotrussians made a man travel to Turkey and she never went he was alone happy. So i do not blame the agencies only this are Ukraine ladies, who now know the bussines. I meet in a travel to Russia last year a lady and she told me that the agencies offer to the ladies, computer and internet time for their home work, small gifts for the minuetes in the chat a man with them accumulating points. Too bad she was just to young I went as a tourist and meet her in an internet caffee while I was trying to communicate in a small town. I travel all over the world. You need to find a person in Ukraine you can trust. For a small percent of what you have spent they will guide you and get you meetings with ladies. It is true no need to do something different, I will spent about 500 a month or more chatting, all my fault for chatting daily and after a few weeks of months she will come with either needs money or no time to meet.
