I don't see it in anything that he wrote. Toad may be a little brusque at times, its his way - but he was refering to some people always calling on the moderator to intervene. I think we all understand each others viewpoints on this issue and we just simply don't agree that the forum needs a makeover. You mention that you have been here for six weeks - I've been here over a year and a half. I have to admit I made my entrance back then by asking if anyone had any experience in taking a Romance Tour (I had yet to go on one myself). I anxiously waited for helpful information as a response. And got silence. I asked a slightly different way, the same question and got (again) silence. Third time I asked - I was told fairly rudely - that if I wanted to find out this information I should plunk the money down and go. I was told that it should be fairly obvious that nobody writing at that time had gone and that I should stop bugging others with the same question. I wasn't particularly crazy about the forum or the direction it seemed to be going at THAT time and I let my responders know it. Since then things have chaged - and this forum has been extrmely helpful to me in my search. I have made several friends - one of whom I was lucky enough to meet in real life when I had a stop over in London recently. This forum isn't perfect. I have use many usefull comments I have found here but it was a chore to find them. If you can not see toads post about us wanting a mommy figure just page back on 8 it is there. As I said in my next post it was nothing personal as I know toad and his style but to an FSU lady it is far from pleasant. Or so I have been told by them.
