That said I needed to 'kick ass' yesterday, as in any job there are tasks the builders prefer and tasks they don't prefer and they don't like to excavate the rocky land to complete the, still, absent 25% of the accommodations building and, since Monday whilst my Aussie chief builder has been away, all 6 of them have been concentrating on completing just 75% of the building. Yesterday, via girlfriend interpreting, I questioned what they're going to do later this week and next week ... "2 men dig holes and the other 4 of you stand and watch?" The foreman replied that they're going to continue with the flooring of the 75%, I replied "Oh no you're not, I've repeatedly asked that 100% of the building be built, I'm fed up with 75%'ing everything and if those holes aren't dug by the end of this week then don't bother turning up next week and I'll get some men in that will build my accommodations building. I observed, after lunch, that 2 men were back to digging holes ... for the first time since Monday. :) These Filipinos are pretty thick!
