Tatiana
thanks, so far have done all these via email and plan to continue when I visit, my only problem will be not putting pressure and I am fairly attached to her and wish to move forward.
VNVnation makes the point of having two drinks. No more. I agree that that seems to be the magic number.
First night at the disco with my lady and another woman I was also considering (another story) I was asked by my lady to dance. I told her that I had a rule that i never danced unless I had TWO drinks first. My lady and her friend both laughed but accepted the idea and I ordered two beers, one after finishing the other. We went out and dancend and had a good time for quite a while.
When I returned to the table I was hot and tired and I ordered another beer. IMMEDIATELY this drew the ire of my companions. I was hit with a barage of questions including "Do you drink often?" Do you get drunk a lot?" "Is there drunkeness in your family?" "When was the last time you got drunk?".
Needless to say I did not order a FOURTH beer but instead slowly sipped the third under the watchful eye of my companions all night.
After a while the two girls got up to dance - but even then they danced right in front of me (though the floor was a considerable distance away). It seemed that they were keeping more than casual watch. Ws it to see if I ordered another drink? neither would ever say.
With regard to drinking, my lady told me something that I have been puzzling over for some time now.
When we met she asked if I "drink." I never know quite how to answer that question, because while I do drink occasionally, I don't drink like I saw men in Russia drinking.
So then I asked her, suppose I have one beer every day of the year, does that mean I "drink?" She thought for a few seconds and said no, that doesn't count as drinking. Then I asked her, suppose once a week I have seven beers, does that mean I "drink?" She answered "OF COURSE!!!"
from my experiences many women (at least in moldova) drink much more, than they confess to do. a party without a bottle of vodka is not a real party. also in moldova you can see already in the afternoon nice ladies drinking a bit of cognac in cafes.
same for smoking: reading the announces it seems, that 99% of those ladies are nonsmokers. in reality at least 50% are smokers.
jet,
in moldova there are couple of shoe factories. to buy shoes in moldova is very cheap. so i have no idea, where your lady bought a pair of shoes for 100-120$???
regarding NIKE:
in the south of moldova there are some garment factories operating with the production for example NIKE. People there earn appr. $120,- per month (salary above average).
anyway:
better, that the ladies in that countries wear their fashion shoes, than that boring NIKE style.
