I've noticed that the general concensus regarding FSU women is that after age 25, their best years (and prospects) seem to be behind them. I don't really understand this mentality. I may be in the minority, but, I'm much more attracted to a late 30's-mid 40's lady compared to her younger counterpart; I always have been. Even as a teenager I always had crushes on mature ladies, long before the term MILF was heard of.
It really needs no explanation, as they have some life experience, maturity, wisdom, and they're at their sexual peak! Compared to women on western dating sites, I've noticed many of the ones on this site don't have children, or only have one. I RARELY have seen this with mature women in the west.
Actually, I met only one, who, at 41, was slim, attractive, intelligent, good career, and was SINGLE and had no children...a rare gem indeed. Whereas, there seems to be a plethora of FSU ladies who possess these qualities, well maybe not the good career though.
I'm generalizing here again, but it seems like the young hotties are offering their wares in hopes of landing an older suger-daddy from the west. God knows there are enough gold-diggers over here; it just seems more obvious from the FSU ladies. I suppose if you're wealthy then your choices of women on this site become ones of personal preference. I mean, they're all going to go for the rich man. Obviously, there will be mature women aiming their heat seeking sugar-daddy missles too, but I think they may be somewhat willing to compromise their ideal mate criteria somewhat, which is good for men who fall on the less than afluent side.
Just some musings, kind of feeling less than optimistic tonight.
I will offer that for many real ones searching for a husband, being rich does not matter. What they seek is a mature and stable person able to provide many years of a solid family environment.
Without bring up the "what's wrong with women from the west?" topic again, there is an amazing difference in the attitudes and work ethics of women from Russia. This of course is a generalization but it really stands out to me. Sure there are the gold diggers and those who just want to get out. But just as many or more who seek nothing but to have a monogamous and secure life partner.
I can say this about america, most people who were born here have no appreciation for how good they have it. Much is taken for granted. Having been to many countries myself gives me a greater sense of wow about how fortunate I was to have been born here. And when you do finally meet that gal from over there, she will work her tail off to make the best of it.
My wife is one of those young FSU (under 25) ladies who found herself an "older sugar daddy" from the west ...
... interesting enough she was not really happy until she found a job and could start paying for herself. In fact, she now insists on paying many times we go out, and does not like it if I offer to pay all the time.
My advice to you, find the right woman and you'll be happy.
Disclaimer: I am far from rich or wealthy. I work my a$$ to provide for my new family. I don't even own a house (the so-called American dream). So, she must have seen something else she liked about this "sugar daddy from the west."
"after age 25, their best years (and prospects) seem to be behind them"
I believe that this IS a commonly held notion in the FSU, though I would set the age somewhat higher than 25. In fact, here in the USA most women get married and have children in their 20s, but there is a widely accepted idea (especially among those with higher education) that women have the option of postponing marriage and family until the 30s.
My understanding in the FSU is that a woman who reaches 30 without having been married is more likely to be thought of as an "old maid." Unmarried gals in their late 20s usually get a lot of pressure from parents about finding a husband.
And as I wrote on another thread, I believe that in the FSU the availability of men who are able and willing to marry a woman of age X, and who look they would make good husbands, falls far behind the number of women seeking husbands by the time X=35 years.
Most men who are involved with the agencies and websites don't appreciate the history of those women who are now 35+ -- it is very different from that of the younger gals. Try to imagine, you are in your last year of secondary school, preparing for exams that everyone in the country must take, and getting the news that the history examination is cancelled for this year ... because your government has had to acknowledge that the history you were taught for the past 10+ years was full of lies. If you talk to an FSU woman who is about 40 or 41, she will be one of those whose history exam was cancelled.
12 years ago, Russia had a financial crisis in which those who had saved their hard-earned money saw currency lose most of its value in a matter of days. Women who were in the workforce not more than a few years at that time, are now between 30 and 40. Those in their late 30s or older will remember a time in the 1990s when the economy was almost completely collapsed -- a friend who worked in large factory in Ukraine went a year without receiving any pay (this was happening all over the FSU at that time).
Many young women, urged on by mothers who had worked incredibly hard and been rewarded by miserable circumstances, focused very intently on the development of their careers and the pursuit of some kind of economic security not dependent on men who might turn out to be alcoholics, philanderers, or simply die young leaving only a tiny pension. These career-focused women literally didn't have time for relationships. In the FSU, they are called the "lost generation."
The very first woman I met Over There through internet contact had recently been telling her daughter (just starting college at the time) how things used to be. Her daughter was not only completely ignorant of conditions during Soviet times, but was incredulous that life was so difficult up the the time around her birth -- so there is a mighty generation gap between FSU women in their mid 20s, and those 35 or older.
I found it amusing when I was new searching through profiles. An interesting number of ladies said 'looks not important' or something like that. Sure, every woman wants Clark Kent, handsome, gentleman, educated and totally honest - "I never lie Lois." Most women will take three out of four. Handsome being the bonus trait but I think the least important.
Elena on Elena's Models are of course, trying to promote her girls. In her book, she says the ladies will accept anyone who looks better than a monkey. I guess that would explain it.
Shirley I jest. I mean danny. Of course there are good looking successful men in Russia. But not enough to go around. And many of those just 'play' the field.
Danny,
I agree to disagree.
I am not going to say that my wife is a supermodel (although she looks amazing for my taste). However, she is 10 times better than any woman who would pay serious attention to me in this country.
Funny thing is that my wife wants me to move to Russia with her. I am the one who refuses because in Russia I would have nothing, while here I can take care of my family (at least for now). If I did not have to worry about money, I would happily build my family back where she wants to be. Anything for the happiness of both.
This situation is more common than you think, at least in Russia (I met a girl once who told me that she could only be with me if I moved to Russia with her).
I'm back in Moscow, and once again have been struck by the total amount of crumpet, eye-candy, whatever you call it. I spent half the afternoon at GUM, sheltering from one of today's thunderstorms, watching (amongst others) two absolute 10s - one obviously a model, as she was being photographed for what might be a catalogue, and the other part of what appeared to be a TV news crew or similar, who I had seen earlier in Red Square. This followed the Security Inspector at Domodedovo (probably only a 9, with great legs and 5 inch heels) to start my welcome!
And, as usual on the Metro, at least one more 9.5-10 every time I looked around.
you say about no men ... my friend inna lives in chelny .. she like threesoms with two guy and has no problem finding it at home annd has no problem finding it in russia . sorry but what i have seen over there just does not match what is said on the date sites
how hard was for inna to find a friend for you to cross swords with ?
aucklander - my guess is that you've never been to california or new york
yes, I recall the local talent just at the airport in moscow was above average. but as ivor states, you see only what you want to see.
for comparison - a way out analogy - if you go to africa on a safari you see the animals you are looking for because you are totally focused on finding them. you hardly notice the insects and different varieties of plant life. and you will be hardly impressed with the monkeys because they are easily spotted and more plentiful than a cheetah. you will tell people about the cheetah with much more detail than you will the monkeys. :)
Good looking women are easily noticed when you’re out looking for them. Guys who go to fsu expecting to see hot women every time they turn their head will see them. Seems we’ve been conditioned into this expectation by leafing through pages and pages of tarted up girls on dating sites. You go there and it’s all you see because it’s all you want to see.
I’m an ordinary guy and like every other ordinary guy I enjoy the sight of a beautiful woman. I’ve travelled enough times to fsu countries and countries within Europe to question the judgment of a guy who thinks the greater percentage of hotties can be found in fsu.
Guys on Latin dating sites will say that Latinos are the best looking cos that why they’re there. Same with Asian dating sites.
Venezuela & India have produced the most miss worlds so they must have the best looking women right?...mmm …maybe… try running that concept up the flag pole and see if anyone salutes it.
America has produced the most miss universe..ironic..
IMO if you’re looking at the whole package i.e. Beauty, intelligence, passion, charm, good sex, propensity to love etc try looking closer to home.
In fact those last two are probably the most important and the fsu women whom I’ve had experience of fall well short of those criteria.
I've never denied that there are plenty of young and beautiful girls where I live. They are gorgeous and they know it. But usually there is a sense of entitlement in them. Unfortunately 95% of my coworkers are men, so no good chances to meet someone there either.
So why should I limit myself when these girls don't even talk to me because I am not hot or young enough for them? At one point I decided to stop wasting my time and started looking for what I wanted elsewhere, and I found it in the FSU.
I don't care why the FSU girls paid attention to me. I only care about the fact that they gave me a chance to show them that I am more than an old, ugly, bald, and fat monkey (like the African monkeys described above), and that chance paved the way to my finding the woman I eventually married and who I really wanted.
I could have found her in Asia and/or Latin America too, but my taste in women focused my attention in Europe (I love blue eyes, like my wife has), and that took me to eastern Europe.
If it had not been for what I found in the FSU, I would have probably been single forever. I am already married to a beautiful and sweet woman and yet the local women don't even look at me.
