Have the fiance visas become more difficult and has the wait time lengthened since the attacks? Do the women understand the visa process when they apply to the agency?
No, the process is the same and the period of getting the approval is the same also. Nothing changed after the events of september 11. As for women...no..I think great majority of them are completely unaware of this process.Usually the agency provides the initial help on getting the visa and them women do everything on their own. Its not very difficult.
How long does it take to get a visa? Isaw somewhere in your site that visa's could be had for the Bahamas. Is this so? How long does it take?Is it quicker for the lady to get a visa for england ?What services to you render to the ladies , what are the fees? How long is your process?
What visa do you mean? If fiancee visa-it takes from 3 months up to several years. As for Bahamas-a month or so.As for visa for England-it is almost impossible , unless it is a fiancee visa. We dont have any services for ladies and we never charge our ladies.Usually men pay for all services. As for tour arrangement.Usually agencies dont agree to make a vis a for a lady somewhere, unless you order the tour. It means that you'll have to pay for visa, tickets and her staying there. As for the fees. It depends on the time of your trip , range of hotels and papers necessary.
Olga, Is it possible for a lady to visit me in London? Can she travel on a passport to London from russia or minsk? According to your response to me yesterday, you told me "it is impossible to get a visa for london".I am talking about a visit of less than a week. Tell me more about how these ladies can visit the bahamas.for me the bahamas is only2.5 hrs.away. I picked london because I thought london would be easier for them to get to.
it is almost impossible for a young lady to get visa to England. The process can be very difficult and long, because English authorities unwillingly approve visas for Russian girls. You can try but I cant guarantee that you'll succseed. As for Bahamas. No problem, it will take less then a month. The easiest way is Italy or France however
Olga, I have dated women from the united states and have been somewhat disappointed. As I look through the picture and profiles on dating-ru.com and read their profiles it seems to me that these women are very mature and would be wonderful to become friends with and hope that it would lead to a wonderful lifelong and happy marriage. What I would like to know is, can you tell me all there is to know about Russian culture and lifestyle? Where can I go on the internet to learn all I can about Russia and there women? What they expect from a man? How they are treated over there? etc.... Thank You, Tim
Olga, I have met someone in Russia, her name is Polina. She seems wonderful, as a matter of fact, she contacted me through a dating service we were both on. We seem to have really connected so far and would like to know any advice you would be able to give me concerning getting a visa and passport to Russia. And also, how do Russian authorities accept American tourist? Thanks again, Tim
Hello Tim!
First about a visa to Russia. As soon as you have an international passport you can apply for the visa. You can make a tourist visa( all arrangements are made through any Russian travel agency, you get a hotel confirmation and invitation)or business visa ( our company can assist you in getting a business visa invitation). After that you apply with this invitation to Russian Embassy in USA in the nearest city you live in( usually our customers apply to Washington Embassy). You dont need to go there in person, just mail the invitation along with your passport and photos there. Your visa will be issued in three weeks or so. As for Russian authorities, as far as I know foreign tourists dont have any problems here and the process of getting visa is rather easy.
Regarding Russian culture and lifestyle. I am sure that even if you will read lots of internet sources or books on this subject, all the same there will be lots of things beyond understanding of every foreigner ;-))) You need to come here and see everything yourself. I can recommend you two options...this is not about Russian culture and lifestyle( internet has plenty of resources about it, I cant give you any advices just because there are thousands of sites on Russian history, culture and literature. Here is a site where you can find true stories about Russian girls, myths and reality. Their "About Russia" articles can be very helpfull as well: http://www.womenrussia.com
And also it would be great if you subscribe to Russian women list. You will be albe to alk to people who are already involved in relationships with Russian girls, and exchange their experience on tours to Russia, different services here and thoughts on Russian mentality. Send a message at RUSSIAN-WOMEN-L@MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU and get a subsciption instructions. I am sure you will find lots of helpful information there. Just one thing: there are considerable differences between people from different countries. Both cultural and mentality difference. But if you will be lucky enough to find your only one, beleive me, all those differences will not mean much for you ;-))
It is strange that it is difficult to get a visa for England (except fiance visa) as most countries find it easy! It seems that the UK makes it hard for whoever they want to make it hard for and easier for others? It seems that for Europeans (our closest comrades?) it is hard, but for the rest of the world it seems to be getting easier? Australians and New Zealanders find it very easy to get any visa they wish for this country!
yeah, English government suspects all tourists from Russia ( and especially women)to be potencial refugees. Thats why its soo difficult to get this visas.
It is very hard and long process to get any European visa for a single young female from Russia or Ukraine. But they had to do that, in order to stop all the USSR prostitutes and criminals flooding them after 1990-s.
With US passport the doors are open for us in Europe. With Russian passport the doors are closed, just like that.
WHAT DOES AN INVITATION LETTER CONSIST OF.I WILL VSIT A LADY IN KIEV IN DECEMBER AND WE BOTH HAVE STRUGGLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS.I HAVE BE ON-LINE SEARCHING FOR THIS ANSWER AND HAVE FOUND THIS HAS CHANGED AND A LETTER IS NO LONGER NEEDED...I HAVE ALL NEEDED FOR VISA AND WILL SEND PASSPORT AND FORMS TO EMBASSY SOON...I KNOW I HAVE WHATS NEEDED..OR DO I...PLEASE HELP!
I also have the info that now the letter of invitation is not necesary. But from the other sources I've heared that one must still have this letter. So I would advice you to have it, just in case. This is a letter from your lady, stating that she will be responsible for your staying in a country, where you are going to live during your visit. You can find the examples of those letters in the internet, but as far as I was informed by our partners in Ukraine, there are no special requirements for the content of this letter, it can be written in free form.
THANKS OLGA,,,NOW I HAVE ANOTHER QUESTION.LIKE I SAID I PLAN A VISIT TO KIEV SOON...WHAT DO THE LADIES OF THIS COUNTRY(UKRAINE) RHINK A BOUT A MAN WHO WANTS TO MEET MORE THEN ONE LADY?I HAVE HEARD THAT SOME MEN GO AND VISIT 4 OR 5 LADIES AT A TIME...IS THIS TRUE?I HAVE RECENTLY FOUND ANOTHER LADY AND WOULD LIKE TO MEET HER TO...ITS CONFUSING...ANY ADVICE??
Well, its hard to answer this question for me. ;-))I have two points of view on that, I can answer you as a woman and as a manager of the agency.;-)) As a woman. I cant imagine that some ladies would be happy to learn that a man they are waiting for is going to meet other ladies.Especialy if you were writing each other for a long time and you are on a stage of some commitments...So if you want to be honest from the very beginning you should tell her, that during your visit you want to meet someone else.I cant predict how she will react on that, but at least it will be honest. Some women are okey wiht that ;-))As a manager of the agency I can advice you to meet both ladies and never ever tell them about each other.;-)))Who knows, may be something will not work out with one lady...;-)))
So as you can see, it must be your own decision, I cant give you any advices here.
The reason why us Australians and New Zealanders find it easy to get into England is because we are half pommies anyway!!! For the Russians, Pommy is slang for englishman. All these issue is like dealing with women in each of our own countries. As you said, Olga, if you wish to see many women then you have to be careful depending on the level of commitment. Also, if you keep looking in these web sites after you think you have found your true love, guaranteed you will find another because there are thousands of them. Once you find one and you tell her you are crazy for her then you're committed and by the sounds of things that's exactly what you have done. Also, consider if you meet these two and find you're wanting both?? Your in the deep crappers then. Finally, you drag one of them back to where ever you come from and the other phones or sends you a letter and your new bride is made aware of the fact you were playing ennie meanie minie mo ......... please don't laugh at the spelling, but you get my drift.... don't you? Don't say what you mean to say, until you have seen who with you are willing to stay. Think it slowly it makes sense.
<<<Don't say what you mean to say, until you have seen who with you are willing to stay.>>> -thats the best advice in this situation. And this is a man''s advice ;-)))
Tim: I am a new member to this forum. I live in San Francisco,Russia
and the Ukraine. Needless to say, I travel frequently between the
countries and actually have flats abroad. The visa process is rather
simple. I noticed Olga, the moderator, correctly stated that you must
have your international, US passport prior to submitting your
application for a visa to Russia or Ukraine. Please also remember
that if you already have your passport, the expiration date must be
effective for at least six months from the dates of trip abroad. My
experience has been that if you are near a Russian consulate, it is
cheaper to get your hotel accomodations who will provide you the
invitation sufficient to attach to your visa application. It is
quicker and expedites the whole process. The Ukraine visa is an
entirely different matter. Ukrainian visas are actually inserted as
part of your passport and you must submit your passport to the
Ukrainian Embassy in Washington D.C. This should take about a 3 week
process. Tim, I have also resorted to using an agency to obtain my
visas and it has been completely reliable. I would be happy to give
you a referral should you be seriously inclined to travel abroad.
With respect to your question about where you go on the internet to
find our about Russian ladies, my response is do not rely entirely on
the content and text of these website opinions. The sites purport to
convey the character and personalities of the Russian woman. However
these are very general observations and may not apply to the specific
indivual lady you may be interested in meeting. Invariably, you will
get a myriad of responses. As with any relationship, there is no
replacement to visiting the countries and immersing yourself in the
communitity and culture to learn what may form the basis for the
ladies personalities and characters. No moderator or website can give
you an accurate assessment of a particular ladies character, only
general impressions colored by the motivations and business models of
the various agencies.
Tim, my opinion (only my opinion), is that the Russian/Ukrainian
ladies do value someone who can be a good and considerate provider.
Honesty about your own economic situation, work stability and ability
to provide is very important to them. Again, it is not only
disrespectful but socially incorrect to assume that women there are
motivated to find Western gentlemen because the men are drunken
failures. That is simply not true. There are many fine men in Russia
and Ukraine. What is true is that there is a disparate number of
women to men ratio, skewed in the men's favor.
You are embarking on on a great adventure and one you should consider
seriously and carefully. Should you have any questions, do not
hesitate to email me and, given my time limitations, will gladly
answer your questions. Best regards, Art
