Well I write to you from Kherson, Ukraine and I have to run to meet my lady. Just wanted to say that I am now engaged and we go today to take pictures for the K1.
See you all again when I return :))

Engaged. It is so romantic. A beautiful ring with diamonds. And a little more certainty that you will like this person every minutes of your life, unconditionally.
Please be happy and be more and even more closer to you girl.
Thanks everybody.
It is 2am my body is totally whacked out due to time changes. I only arrived home a couple of hours ago.
Much to tell and even though we got engaged there is still a ton to get through before we are good and solid. There is much that can go wrong.
Language and culture have been a problem and it is going to take time to straighten all this out. Some of it is amusing and I will write about it here as it will help others not to make the same mistakes as I have and to not be shocked by some things that can happen to them also.
Also I did the train thing and it went like clockwork!
I got a couple of photos and the old tickets and would like to give a detailed explanation of how to do this. I recommend it. You get exactly where you need to go, it is cheaper and you experience a bit of FSU culture.

I gave her a ring which was studded with small diamonds (couldn't afford a Liz Taylor one) she liked it but also said it was not her style. She likes rings that are flat so it will not catch in her clothes. More on this later. So I have to buy her another one. A gold flat ring maybe I can buy one for about 600 grivnas. We went shopping for one but she wore me out looking for boots and it will have to wait until next time I think. Meanwhile she has this first one. Like I said before there is a million things still that can go wrong so I am not counting any chickens yet.

Thanks SD I'll pass the compliment onto the 'tart' :))
Seriously there are about a million things that need to be sorted out. I'll just put one foot in front of the other.
It turned cold over there very fast. The first week it was reasonable then on Sunday a week ago I woke up early to everything covered in snow and more coming down. This surprised me because it wasn't particularly cold the day before. I think I will wait until April or maybe March before going again. I really didn't expect it to be so cold over there. In the Urals i.e Ekaterinburg in March you expect it but not on the Black Sea coast.
I wonder what happened to VNV and Freebird? Never did hook up with them.
Izi, I just returned from the Siberia area of some cold, snow, ice and a bit of cold. Found a pricesses also. Will write more later as I have just returned from a week away and so much to do.
