During 2004, I developed a relationship with a woman from Azov, Russia through fiance.com
Why did I start this thing? Simple: I wanted to know a brave, smart woman unlike those I would typically meet in everyday life. I wanted to think ahead…a man of my age (now 43, but youthful) wanting at least one child in next five years. So, I found one and only one woman I was interested in (she initiated the correspondence). I was NOT on some shopping trip or trophy hunt.
She had impeccable credentials and was — at one time — one of their Miss Wows.
I went all the way to Azov and Rostov-on-Don to see her in May 2004. Although I was 42 at the time (to her at age 23), I can assure you that I am not old and we were well matched for each other (You should see me or my photos).
From the start, this Russian woman assured she couldn't be bought for money and all of that bla-bla-bla. I let her know honestly what I had in life and she assured me that would be enough. And, like a fool, I believed her. She had this game when I dare every question her sincerity, she would get all bent out of shape ("upset, etc.) about me not trusting her. Read on and you'll see how this ugly story of betrayal plays out like a cheap novel.
After I went to see her, she wrote me about how much she loved me and knew I was the man she always wanted to find. Azov is a dump. Yet, these women seem to have some underground network in the USA. They have nothing in Azov, but I have found these women WANT EVERYTHING (get rich — $$$$— quick, gold-digging schemes hand over fist).
I have ALL the letters she "supposedly" wrote which clearly describe her "heartfelt" promises to me. She said she was interested in me only, and hated those who use the word "love" in vain, according to the translation. When I was in Russia, I was even "adopted" by her family as one of them. One heck of a way to treat "family," as they said I was.
I loved this woman. Coming from me, this MEANS everything. But, she and her types in Russia apparently have a different version of what love means to them…I was fool enough to believe them…
Two weeks after I came home to USA, I got this very greedy letter about me paying all of her "expenses." I replied that I had a plan to reasonably take care of this. I guess the $300 US Dollars exchanged into Russian rubles I gave her only two weeks before was not enough. Then, after being ignored for two weeks, got an e-mail letter she supposedly wrote. She said she knew rules of USA, and that our 19-year age difference would not be allowed by embassy.
Then she claimed to need "time to think," and promptly disappeared.
I have recently found out that this 24-year-old Russian woman has been in the USA for more than a year. She married a wealthy man in California who was 60 years old at the time (a 36-year-age difference). I was shocked and alarmed for my country at the same time. I know the cold-hearted nature of this woman and why she should not have been allowed to enter our country as easily as she did. What is wrong here?
Please know that "checking" or "backgrounding" a woman has NOTHING to do with being scammed. I got lied to and cheated by this woman of "character" and a with a site of very strong "anti-scam" policies.
I previously warned the U.S. Embassy about this woman, but I was ignored long before she was granted a visa. I can see a system of "legalized prostitution" where American men — even in their 60s or God knows even older — can "buy" these young Russian women like sex slaves — or for whatever purposes — and our government allows this to happen. If not, please explain how this case could have happened?
I have written our elected officials and our government in Washington, D.C. about this Russian-bride thing and will continue to do so. Nothing - and I mean nothing — hurts worse than seeing the love of your life sold to the highest bidder.
I guess this terrible thing is allowed to happen, and people like her have an easy way to come into the USA and corrupt our way of life. I ask you…a 24-year-old MARRIED to a 60-year old? Can you see the nonsense of this relationship? Apparently, the U.S. Embassy in Moscow does not. It’s all about money…who pays who and for what…which is why these Internet Russian-bride sites thrive. I can only hope not for long. I am too heartbroken to deal with this legalized flesh peddling.
I want to see this Russian-bride thing outlawed. I do not want to see any good man like me with good intentions get hurt so bad, or have many of these women enter the USA under false pretenses or as legalized "prostitutes." Think what you want of me, but I have truth of what happened, and it will always remain the heartbreak and deception of my life.
Well good to see you finally revealed your story. I hate to kick a man that is down, but you know you were stupid.
You say:
"Although I was 42 at the time (to her at age 23), I can assure you that I am not old and we were well matched for each other (You should see me or my photos). "
yet you also say
"I ask you…a 24-year-old MARRIED to a 60-year old? Can you see the nonsense of this relationship?"
I was NOT on some shopping trip or trophy hunt. Bull S^*t
You made a mistake and picked the wrong girl and didn't see the signs and you failed on this one. Now you want to mount an all out effort to outlaw this Russian birde thing.
Who the hell do you think you are?
Pick up the pieces, make your statement and walk away. Don't try to ruin something that has worked very well for others.
To a lesser degree I agree with Neon. 1-2-3-4, you were almost twice this lady's age, you say that you are not old, you are 43 and whilst to you that may not be old you are probably a similar age to her or her friends parents.
Throughout your post it comes across, more than once, that you are jealous because another guy got her and you didn't. So she's looking for a sugar daddy, didn't you realise that? And the fact that she has married a grandfather rather than a father, well an older man is an older man and more fool the other guy, he hasn't got a marriage, he's got a financial arrangement.

<<I hate to kick a man that is down, but you know you were stupid.>>
Vall me whatever you want, Mr. Friend. I am can assure that this site is on report ot the U.S. Government. This woman told me when I visited her that they do not even write these letters, and this whole thing is a scam. I have this woman's word on what happens, and that will be related to the U.S. Government.
Save your crisitism. This is a form of legalized prostitution, and I will address this matter with our Senators in the United States. Remember…this woman told me this whole thing was a set-up, and will relate her words.
Please cut this 1-2-3-4 some slack. He couldn't be too stupid as to report a prostitution ring to the U.S. Government. Our Country need more people like him. I can only be glad he wrote the U.S. Senators and Conresspeople about the prostitution issue he has uncovered. God bless him.
"I ask you…a 24-year-old MARRIED to a 60-year old?"
Just as easily as a 24-year-old could marry a 43-year-old. Why do you think you are better than him?
You picked a wrong girl from a wrong city. Azov is a scamming dump. There is one and only one agency there that was breeding Miss Wow's like some farmers are breeding pigs. Don't know what they had to do with reality...
1-2-3-4, I'm sorry to hear the way your story ended, but where do you live in the states? do you go out of your house? you think there is no prostitution in the states--::))? there are no American 24-year olds who are married to wealthy 60-year olds--::)) you think the wealthy guy needs to go to Russia to find young woman--::))
The story you presented has happened to many people dating AMERICAN women in the states. Finding true love in our days is extremely rare. Most people don't even believe love exists. Few of us were lucky to find love, others compromise with financial arrangements domestic or foreign. Don't fool yourself and waste your time writing letters. Russian brides will never be outlawed. It's absolutely impossible since it's our constitutional right to marry wheover we want and bring that person to our country.
1-2-3-4, you are entertaining us here. thank you. I think you have not even read what others have written here. Read it. I hope you put on your report all dating sites, not only this one. :) :) also read our forum about why fiance.com is normal introduction site, and you should use you upper HEAD before making any decisions, nobody will do them for you. We will block you if you do not stop this nonsense. Also do not post into the forum if you are drunk, or mentally sick. Nothin in your story is unnormal. it is life. You did not even use real email when registered on this forum.
We're all wrong, what 1-2-3-4 is trying to explain is that's it's OK for him to sleep with a prostitute but should another guy dare to sleep with 1-2-3-4's hooker then heads will roll.
I surely hope that the White House are reading this!
Let me tell you a story about the fiance.com scam. It started about two years ago when I began corresponding with with a lady from Mariupol Ukraine.
After several trips to Ukraine, and I know the Airlines were in on this scam with the lady I met because she told me about the kickback she got from the airlines when I bought my tickets through orbitz. Also the apartments in Kiev and the restaurants in Kiev and Mariupol where also in on this scam. See my lady knocks down about 100,000 a year with this program. She lived in a very small flat just to keep the scam going. Like all of the other scammers. Also Donbass Aero gives her a commission also.
God, cut the crap. Guys reach down in your trousers have a gender check. All this forum has turned into now, is a paranoid scam alert board. She ripped me off, or is this email header legit. Jesus Christ, communicate with a woman, go visit Ukraine, Russia or whatever and quit being so damned paranoid. You can't be scammed by an email. You can only be scammed if your foolish enough to send money to someone. This is the same old story regurgitated by 1234. And lately all most of the guys here our worried about is, is she a scammer, or is this one a scammer.
Two years ago I used this site to communicate with women from the FSU. This was an awesome forum at one time. After a few trips to Ukraine, there is a beautiful woman sleeping on my sofa right now from Mariupol. In April we are going to be married. Good God men, use common sense, this isn't rocket science, this isn't a game of who is scamming who. Too many idiots have come in to this forum and ruined it. All you have to do is read the steelemans, the vanechkas, 1234, FirstKnights, Now Doctor Pepper. And wonder why there are so many successful scammers still making a living in the FSU. I'm almost ashamed of my Gender anymore. Get on a plane, Visit the FSU, get an education of the culture and the current political and economic atmosphere, and maybe, just maybe with a little luck you might find a woman with just a little bit of common sense.
"This woman told me when I visited her that they do not even write these letters, and this whole thing is a scam. I have this woman's word on what happens, and that will be related to the U.S. Government."
Guess this guy is so stupid he thinks if there is one scammer out there, then they ALL are scammers.
It's unfortunate, but some guys are just not prepared or cut out for international internet dating.
I can't help but wonder if he has found a beautiful 24 year old girl here in the states to have children with. What do you think are the chances?
Hey 1-2-3-4 ever heard of Anna Nichol the one that married that 80 year old billionare. Like olga said you WHERE NOT thinking with your upper head and your not MAN ENOUGH TO ADMIT IT. I have been scamed (thats the nice way of putting it) by u.s. ladies it happens learn from it, do not ruin it for the good ladies and the good men
Does the syntax of 1,2,3,4’s letter bother anyone, or maybe make you a little curious? The forensic signature of the letter reminds me of someone. I’m not so sure the author is American.
Scammers:--- If it is too good to be true it probobly is. One Agency that used to be associated with Fiance.com was telling me that I needed to send them money to translate each letter from their agency. I told them several times that I was a V.I.P. Member of Fiance.com but they still insisted that I pay them money too. I reported them to Fiance.com and they were removed from this web site.
A lady wrote to me at this web site. she told me her personal e-mail address. By the second time I had writen her Fiance.com had already removed her profile because she is a scammer.
I continued to correspond with her on Private e-mail for a month or two. You see I hate scammers and liars so I continued to correspond with her for my own entertainment and amusement. I never lied to her I never said anything that was not true , yet I wasted a lot of her time and efforts just for my own amusement. Her letters were so foolish , she was really bad at it . It was very obvious that she was a sammer and she was not all that good loking according to her photos. Of course scammers can even be Men just writing letters and posting photos of some beautiful Woman.
Presently I'm trying to decide between meeting a really beautiful and smart 23 year old in Columbia , or a nice 34 year old in Ukraine. The Columbia speaks great English and the Ukrainian speaks none. I am 44 years old. I have always done well with Women, but here in the USA no 23 year old women would seriously consider a realtionhship with me. I think things could be great with the 23 year old for a few years but it's hard to picture my self at age 55 with a 33 year old or 65 with a 43 year old. Yet I know another beautiful 22 year old in Columbia and her Father is 70 years old and her Mother is 48 years old. So go figure. Woman are the same all over the world. There are good ones and bad ones all over.
We sure don't need the Government regualting who we Marry anymore. Unless the Government is really willing to step up and stop stopping those with really poor genes and low IQ's to reproduce.
I understand the Government is passing a new law now in favor of the ladies. Now the Ladies will be allowed better acess to crimiol records ect. of the Men.
What about all of the Men claiming to be Princess when really they are Woman beating jealous possevive alcoholics ?
