I know I could look this up on the web 0 but actually I find sources that seem to conflict on the web regarding the significance and meaning of different color flowers. Example - yellow roses have traditonally meant good-bye after a romantic involvement. I've also seen thay they mena friendship. Maybe its the degradation of a romance into a friendship that had evolved into "good bye" in some cultures. I've also seen that yellow roses can mean unfaithfullness - as in not pure white? So it was with some interest that I waited under the Laimes Clock (a traditional romantic meeting place in Riga) while another guy stood there also waiting for his interest - carrying a single yellow rose. When they met they sure didn't seem to be breaking up. Please explain your interpretation of a white flowers and why a thank you would be unexpected. Specially if you send white carnations. Flower color interpretations vary even within the same country. You're best off asking your lady what she thinks of them. Can't go wrong with red, though..it means love/romance/time for hanky panky jsut about everywhere on the planet. I have never sent any of my honies in FSU any real flowers, although I know they would all love receiving them.
