If you have to ask this question you need to reach down in your pants and have a gender check. If you can't handle rejection this isn't the place for you pal. Walk to the beat of your own drum, Say what you mean and do what you say. It isn't difficult to be a real man. Being a man translates in many languages, it seems you have more than finding an english speaking Russian woman as your main problem. Plus in respect to her,Learn her language she's going to learn yours. This will give you an added advantage, when she's pissed at you she will probably speak Russian, so you know what she's pissed about. And if she's around you very long she will probably be speaking her native language very often!!! Damn quit being a whiney assed whimp and get in the game. If this place is tough send your profile to the many bath houses in San Fransisco, I'm sure you will find a date there.
This bastard-ass is the most annoying little sh*t I j=have ever encountered. He loves the attention. If we ignore him and render him irrelevant he should go away.
I can no longer participate in this forum if it continues with this joke monopolizing the air waves. This forum has been informative and enjoyable up to the arrival of the little e.
Man to be attracted to the type of The Spanish Bullfighter type, Ben Afleck or the Dennis Rodman types, or any other type, to me it seams to be rather shallow...why?? I think that there are very nice people besides those types, and not to like them just because they don't fit the type for me seams to be a shallow thing:)
Actually Ptichka, you are right. It is shallow to judge someone because of the type of work that they do. I judge people on the principles that they live by. If I don't like their principles I will probably think poorly of them.
Sancho will probably define this on his own terms, but here is definition I think fairly correct.
The Dictionary of Mexican Cultural Code Words reports "... machismo meant the repudiation of all "feminine" virtues such as unselfishness, kindness, frankness and truthfulness. It meant being willing to lie without compunction, to be suspicious, envious, jealous, malicious, vindictive, brutal and finally, to be willing to fight and kill without hesitation to protect one's manly image. Machismo meant that a man could not let anything detract from his image of himself as a man's man, regardless of the suffering it brought on himself and the women around him. ... The proof of every man's manliness was his ability to completely dominate his wife and children, to have sexual relations with any woman he wanted, to never let anyone question, deprecate or attempt to thwart his manhood, and never to reveal his true feelings to anyone lest they somehow take advantage of him." Now this becomes a multidimensional concept covering multiple personality traits and behaviors. As such, it becomes difficult to classify someone as 'macho' or not without administering a full battery of reliable and valid personality tests. Absent an objective operational definition, the term becomes an irresponsible way of associating negative character traits with an entire continent of Latin American men.
Machismo is when a man acts in a way that is considered to be manly. Strong , brave and proud. Think of a Mustang stallion and then apply it to a man. Bullfighters usually appear to have this.
Scot thank you a lot for explaining that term...brrr feels not too good, the words even gave me the shivers...how could that image of a person survive??? That's really a brutality to my mind, I may be wrong, but as I guess you all know that I'm not a feminist or anything like that, but this makes me feel completely disappointed in this word and the type of behaviour:))
