I would agree that the definition fits the extreme. For the most part, I normally equate the quality of "machismo" with the rodeo term "cowboy up". See the movie "8 Seconds" to truly understand the meaning.
Most probably equate "machismo" with presence. If you equate it more with the meaning of "cowboy up", it refers to ones character. It basically means "being a man".
Sancho, if you will read the topic carefully, I said that i'm not interested in "machismo" type behaviour, maybe a little bit, but a little bit is OK at least with me:) And I also doubt that many girls from FSU would like the man who is completely macho...
Thank you Scott very much!! I really enjoyed the article, and it shows the matter in a completely different light:))) Thank you!!
I understand that there are 2 approaches to the term "machizmo", and it's the same as the 2 approaches to the term "slavonic type" of people, at least as how I found out:)
there are 2 approaches on "slavonic type". 1 it is how Slavonic people view themselves, and like others think about what a Slavonic person looks like.
Other people a Slavonic type it's a high, blond hair, with blue eyes person.
In reality Slavonic people have dark hair, dark eyes, yes we are rather high. And there is the difference between Russian and Ukrainian people, these differences are in the form of the head, eyes, figure...in some small details:)
Donkey or Sancho whichever you prefer....Are you calling me a racist? You dumb ass. You said I don’t like Latino names? How did you come up with that one?
“white anglo saxon protestants like Dax” Try atheist Basque you stupid! Zure ama emagaldua da! Or would you prefer Burro hijo de puta!
You are just not smart enough to pull one on us. How do I know you are the stupid donkey?
1. Your irrational writing style
2. Sancho Panza, a character from “Don Quijote de la Mancha” used to ride a freaking donkey, but his name wasn’t eeyore.
3. In one of your posts you said...”there goes the Latin lover reputation.” ( Hell, you cannot even get a girlfriend, what reputation are you talking about?) Thus, it is obvious you are Latin and from a Spanish speaking country. Cervantes is to Spanish speakers as Shakespeare is to English speakers.
Good try though. I just hope you are not Spaniard (if you are, then you are probably Gallego), because then I would really dislike you, and you know why. But I hope you are not Basque, that would be heartbreaking. You would symbolize the decadence of my people...I would have to kill myself.
And donkey, you are right; I am not a “macho” because I don’t have to. I am quite comfortable with my masculinity....too bad you cannot say the same..Marikoi!
Do you know what I love about this entire matter donkey? That now you are calling yourself a donkey so you can defend yourself in the forum... I find it hilarious!
You are extremely confusing, but I like your new attitude donkey. Please, do not use the word “terrorist” next to the word Basque. Yes, I use the same language with girls, and so far it has worked well. Was my dad a bachelor? LOL nice try to call me a bastard. Don’t you have cojones-huevos-pelotas? I like your attitude donkey. Keep my name off your posts, and I will keep your off mine.
You have my word S...Sorry English speaking people
Entre tu y to S ... estaba en lo correcto acerca de tu doble personalidad? Soy curioso, pero no lo divulgare.
