Well based with the choice, am I in my 40's, as I am, or am I in my 50's as this random profile suggested, one or more persons immediately chose to believe the incorrect information and brand me a liar, much the same as they branded me a liar once I had made mention that I was married. They claim to 'screen' every lady on their site but that is a lie, they have very, very few ladies that admit to having their own email address, fiance.com claims 'unlimited and unedited emails however one can only send and receive emails if the lady chooses to divulge her address. Atleast 95% of the ladies are listed through affiliate agencies and, yes, fiance.com pay these agencies to generate online letters, not private emails, and one can spend $$$ month after month after month and still one may not have the laidies email addresses or other contact information. Also, I found, the ladies would write their seriosness towards meeting one but try to arrange a face to face meeting, the lady would keep the letter generating going right until one or two days before the supposed meeting before cancelling. And then fiance.com has it's forum but EVERY post has to be approved by the moderators before it, if ever, goes live and many post do not. Fiance.com is like living in a 'police state', as long as you pay a monthly subsciption whilst keeping you mouth shut then all is fine but dare to suggest any corruption on the part of fiance.com then you're out on your ear and your IP is blocked. Do they admit to having had any scammers listed, just check out fiance.com for yourself, no blacklist, no scammers, no nothing but over the past 18 months they have had plenty. Are their ladies listed first hand, no, simple to establish this by running the names thru a search engine, fiance.com are simply marketing other agencies 'products' and charging $$$ per month for it. Finally, they claim not to edit emails, except that they're not emails, they're online communications, well that's another lie and as soon as I politely raised this point today my IP was blocked. I would have liked to have kept my research going but with a blocked IP I find now is an appropriate time to make my findings public. Fiance.com , I wouldn't go as far to say it is a scam, but it is corrupt and they do list scammers and/or professional daters and beware of subscribing my credit card, they continued to take money from my card and I had to cancel the card. Just another imbellishment to make Fiance.com look bad. When I cancelled my subscription with Fiance.com it was done immediately and without hassle. Makes me wonder what the continual charge if there was one was for. Maybe someone trying to shake down Fiance.com for some free time on their site. That wouldn't surprise me at all. I never had an issue with this company whether it was with the website or their Flamingo service. At the time their service for the value was great, if you spent 400 a year for unlimited communications it is a far cry less than you would spend with sites with higher prices and pay per letter sites. Also the silly charge is they pay agencys to generate letters. Really what point would that suffice. Hell they pay a discounted price for agency translations, that's why the agency that was translating my communications complained to me for writing everyday because they were paid little by Fiance.com for translations. Another silly accusation. There is no benefit for agencys sending continuous letters to a guy because the translation cost is not to their benefit. The author of this must have went on the cheap with fiance.com and wasn't a VIP member which is the best value. Why would fiance.com need a blacklist? There are plenty already on the internet, some legitimate others not so. Whenever a situation arose they handled it quickly, actually eliminating some agencys completely and not just the woman. Some just don't get the message when they block your IP they are telling you something. Then again, some come back to brag that they have many IP's and you cannot block what they want to post. Also one with common sense would know that a site this large will have an occasional scammer come in. It's just the law of averages. Especially using affiliate agencys. Though many sites use profiles from other agencys to generate business, it kind of like multiple listing. Since some here are such google pilots, they would know if they were smart that positioning is critical on google to get your ads in front of the consumer. Does Fiance have some flaws, sure but to accuse them of corruption is a bit slanderous at best. I'm always suspect of the person claiming all others lie and they are beyond reproach. Ones claiming moral dignity is usually trying to endow an idiot with dignity. I was successful using Fiance.com, overall its about as good as it gets. I had subscribed to a couple of other FSU sites, but found this to be the best in overall cost in communications. If your worried about using this as a form of proof of relationship, well your better off providing phone records that will prove more than emails ever would. A small point as to canceling the credit card, I use a visa debit card and have had two instances where unauthorized charges have been made to it. Both times it was required that the card be destroyed and a new one (different number) be issued when the charges were reversed. This may be a requirement of the bank my debit account is in but it is necessary with my card.
