For the first time in a long time I did a quick browse, a few days ago, of a particular age group in Ukraine and I spotted a scammer who I personally slept with back in 2003, so I know what I'm talking about. However, were I to identify her ID then it would immediately be censorsed by the moderators, many sites will publish a blacklist of such scammers but not on fiance.com, they don't like to admit to anything of the sort, to quote Olga above: All women on this site want to relocate. There are a few reasons for this including relative proximity to their home countries (try as you might - explaining that America is only a longer airplane ride doesn't cut it). We also have suffered bad press over the Iraqi War (though others including the UK are involved). Some don't seem to like the "lack of culture" or bravado of American men. In developed countries the US ranks 11th in per capita murders. Belarus has more killings with guns than the US per capita with Russia being number one and Brazil moving up to second place. Funny thing these two countries have stricter gun laws than the US. Do the math, do you think a criminal really cares if the gun is legal or not? Russia has more homicides by guns than the US, 15,000 in US to over 33,000 in Russia. You have opted to make a comparison to countries such as Russia and Belarus, perhaps a convenient comparison but these ladies are not looking to move to Russia or Belarus, they are looking to move to a western country and a sensible lady should take all matters, including the aforementioned, into consideration. I'll refrain from entering into a political debate however I viewed an interview of a political comedian on TV last evening and when the interviewer asked the interviewee 'I bet you'd never have expected another Ronald Reagan' the answer came back 'George W. For example the town I live in hasn't had a murder in over ten years, and that was not done with a gun, nor do we have the crime rate of the urban areas as Lousiville, Cincinatti and Indianapolis. Why it is well known that there are many registered conceal and carry permits in the county I live in. Not all Criminals are stupid and if they can committ a crime knowing that the environment they are in is relatively safe they will. They don't want to take a chance of ending up in the morgue. It is an unalienable right of every human on this planet to defend their life and their property. Just because there are pockets laden with crime in the US, and mostly urban areas where the social welfare experiment has drastically failed. Doesn't mean that every area in the US is that way. Also in perspective, you look at the communities in the US that have the strictest gun laws you will find the most gun crimes, I.E. Chicago, Los Angeles, New York. The Anti Gun lobby is intellectually dishonest, and if you lump all the crimes together you will not find it any safer to live in Western Europe than it is in the US.
