Natalia, being a virgin, has probably never heard of the word condom because she has this perception that having sex = having a baby, and she doesnīt want to be stuck with a baby without some security. Thatīs all.
Also, I know more of Madrid in one month than Natalia knows in her 9 months here. She doesnīt smoke or drink. In Chisinau she lived with her brother. Everytime I called her, I found her waking up from sleep. Never once did I hear she was out somewhere.
You canīt find girls like this in Bulgaria or Romania, or in western Europe - Only in Moldova.
Hey DrKoop. Don't listen to these guys. I think you got a catch. I have heard very conservative ideals exist in Moldova.
In almost every case a girl of fertile age announces herself as a virgin, it usually is very true. If she is interested in marrying so be it, but have something put in writing about it just in case she played a head trip.
You just never know with some of these girls though. Could be sincere, could be a sociopath. Have you met her family yet? That is the biggest test of all...
For example, I offered to buy Natali a car, and she refused. Sheīs very consistent because when we were writing and before we met, I offered to bring her to the US and buy her a car, and she refused both offers.
Sheīs serious almost all of the time, except when I mentions babies, that puts a smile on her face. That and other small things like flowers and other gifts. Sheīs never asked to be taken me to an expensive restaurant, or even cab fare. Now, we havenīt gone out to restaurant in a while since she works from 9 to 6, but when she worked from 2 to 7, we were going to McDonalds, Burger King, a chinese, etc. for lunch.
Anyone saw dollar sinking to 0.6988 to a euro yesterday, breaking the 0.7 barrier.
DrKoop, the problem you have (apart from not being able to sleep with this girl) is that shes in Spain illegally. So if you want to marry her you both have to go back to Moldova. And then if you apply for a visa to US or the EU it would be more than likley be refused if they know she stayed in Spain illegally. You could lie to the embassey but even if you do you have to prove you've known her for some time. Thats going to be somewhat difficult.
She doesnīt want to come to the US. I myself have been thru an unlawful US fiancee visa denial, which costed me a very rewarding relationship; so Iīm not up to sacrificing another relationship to the US system.
About the EU, and this is something I too learnt after I came here, EU does not have a common citizenship or passport yet. Being a citizen of a member country entitles one to travel freely within the EU, but not to work or reside permanently in another EU member country. Each member country so far has itīs own residency and work permit requirements, which are only getting tougher. It used to be that you only form a company and it entitled you to work and residence permits, but thatīs no longer the case. Now, marriage is about the only way.
Spain is full of immigrants from other Spanish-speaking countries, Cubans, Argentineans, Mexicans, etc. Itīs rare to find anyone here who speaks English, even in hotels and hostels, except for the hookers.
Koop shes from Moldova, even if the EU had a common citizenship and passport and there were no restrictions for citizens of member countries with regards to work and residence it would not make any difference for her. Any what does not speaking English or immigrants got to do with anything?
I missed the point where you have to stay in Spain. Why worry about residency if you can work wherever you want? If you can start your own company, can't you just sponsor her on a work visa? Surely you know people who have a legitimate business there.
Most EU countries do have a work permit you can get if a company sponsors you. No one puts any details other than start of work date. I worked legitamately in New Zealand with an annual renewal of my visitors permit should my work visa expire. I could have stayed indefinately as long as I worked or had a way to support myself without gaining government entitlements.
Where's kiwinorth? Did you know NZ has a little clause in their residency application that states if you have a homosexual partner you are entitled to a 2-year residency? ;0 strange but true... I started mentioning this to a lot of marketing companies around NZ as a joke, a few years later I found out it was more than a slight embarrassment to the NZ parliament in national and international circles. ;p
apal, yeah he could, not he would have to prove an EU citizen can't do the job the shes going to do. Its not like theres a shortage of models in the EU. It shouldn't be hard for him to get a residence visa for himself if he can show hes going to invest can cash as long as he can prove hes got it.
Thats the problem with the labour gov in NZ. Says it all really.
of course it is of paramount importance that hookers there speak English - she's a virgin, remember? He's not getting anything from her, keep that in mind. Besides, the doc has got a habit of mentioning his paid hobby here.
you've hit the nail on the head! Clever dick you, and no, there's nothing suspicious about that. You can trust him, he's a Doc you see?
you think his name's got a nice ring? Oriental undertones? Gosh, you need some education, but that ring-bit is correct - that of an old-fashioned cash register!
'Koop' means 'Buy', and is of Dutch origin, hardly oriental ma China. But the buying-bit brings this post back to his paid hobby perhaps, reinforced by his post above.
if it makes you feel better - I know what to think .....
She swung the sack in her hand at me, not the butt blo.
Look, I go from Natalia being with Moldovian mafia to a nun every other day. Usually, when Iīm with someone for a while, I have an opinion of that person, but I canīt figure this one out.
The other night I heard the keyboard and sneaked up on her thinking she was in a late night chat session with a man, but she was just watching photos of her brother's baby. Yes, it could've been a set up.
I think the Dr. is taking his name from C. Everett Koop former Surgeon General of the United states.
Thunder you're a hoot, your posts make me laugh my ass off!!
As for Natali getting you to beg for more Dr. where is your self control and discipline? I still think this whole thread is a farce. He had to get the unlawful Visa denial in. Any person can claim here something is unlawful or unconsititutional, but we never actually see the other side of the story. With the friends I've met here none of us had any problem with visa's, change of status and lifting of conditions with the exception of the ridiculous increases in price that has come along lately.
I will still encourage any guy to go to their ladys interview wherever it may be. Though not necessary it does prove some legitimacy to the relationship. I have yet to talk to a single guy that went to his ladys interview with her, that she had her visa denied. That includes Wtrav02 who he and I disagree on many things. We both agree on that.
